  • Hey everyone! Our road trip took us to the Heart of Lapland- Rovaniemi, Finland, and it’s such a cool spot because of the latitude and, of course, the Santa Claus Village! Lira got to meet Santa and she was super emotional. This is a huge milestone for us since we've finally made it to the Arctic Circle. We'll be heading south after this.
Oh, and we also hit up the World's Northernmost McDonald's in Rovaniemi! For the record, since we filmed this video, a new McDonald's in Tromsø, Norway, has opened up and taken the title. So, if you hear me calling the Rovaniemi one the northernmost, that’s why-it was the case when we were there!
    Enjoy this special polar episode! #finland #santa #nordic #lapland

Kiosks in MCDonalds are a thing in Finland and everytime certain restaurant gets overhauling, it gets kiosk. That MCDonald is going to get it during next few years

@@LiraNeo2023 The A-tractor is built by modifying a car. The car had to be built as a pick-up truck and it was only allowed to travel at 40 km/h. I think you can't build them anymore and that's why their prices are quite high these days. The most common platform was the Volvo Duett. As Finns, we were always a little jealous of Swedish moped riders, because they had weather protection and heating in their own means of transportation. The A-tractor is a Swedish miracle and you can't build one in Finland.
The moped car is a fairly new entrant and is just a tube frame covered in plastic with a moped engine, brakes and safety. A type of A-trakror was designed in Finland specifically with safety in mind, and it is also in the law, but it is against EU regulations. A light car is a car that is slower than a regular passenger car that you could drive at the age of 15-17 with the same card as a regular moped. The maximum speed of light car would be limited to 60 km/h, and they should not be driven on motorways. The tractor is also allowed to travel 60 km/h, so I wouldn't have seen this as a problem.

I recommend visiting in the winter anyway, it's such a different experience compared to any other time of the year. 7:28 This isn't true anymore, they moved a few kilometers south and demolished this building. I'm pretty sure they have kiosks now. I think you guys managed to avoid the souvenir shop with an owner that will yell at you if they see you film, since you didn't mention it

Yeah we are aware of the location change and that new branch opened up in Tromso, Norway. We even clarified it in the description. Hey you are right, of course it's better to visit in winter.
