    You could put a nylon stocking over a half inch tube with a rubber band and siphon water faster, they won't get sucked into it.

    Always love your breeding videos, Mark. I learn so much. Even if it's not on a fish I intend to breed, like these barbs. You gave really good tips at ~2 minutes on weaning fry onto certain foods, and water changes at the 4 and 6 minute marks. I for one would be really interested in seeing any sort of compilation video you could make with these sorts of tips.

    Nice one Mark. Love your videos as always, can't wait to see them a little bigger shoaling in your main tank. I'm gonna have to start shutting down some of my tanks, looming energy price hikes are just too much now.

    This is great! I have a 75g that had about 40 Platy's, but I just rehomed them and now I got 16 small Tiger Barbs and 8 Siamese Algae Eaters. Id like to try and breed the TB's once they get full grown. So perfect timing!! Thanks Mark, you rock!

    Cool !!! Right little characters those tiger barbs are ! Been watching a few of your vids and the fresh brine shrimp every other day is awesome for raising livebearing fry ! I'm going to try neon tetra spawning and maybe some of these little terrors next 😁 cheers Mark !

    Hello Mark, I have fish fry that die after the seventh day. What do you think, though, that I care about the quality of water and others, and I feed them egg yolks with milk?

    • @MARKSAQUATICS
      @MARKSAQUATICS  Před 2 lety +1

      Be careful feeding egg it will very quickly pollute the water and kill the fry . Make sure filtration is up to the job.

    • @johnwalker194
      @johnwalker194 Před 2 lety

      Get some brine shrimp eggs and make a plastic bottle hatchery as one of marks videos shows ! I do a fresh batch every other day ! I've never had so many baby fish survive and thrive ! I do egg yolk in small amounts of tank water to make an emulsion before a water change and also grind up flake food into a powder between my fingers as I feed my main tank, hope this helps 😉
