  • This is a New Method of Segmented woodturning using wedges to create staves with inside and outside profiles already cut.

    My eyes must be deceiving me…some 30+ years ago I met this incredibly talented woodworking craftsman in Palmyra that told me he would never have a lathe in his shop as “they were too messy!”….phenomenal work as always Paul, glad to see you are still going strong!

    Beautiful work. I like your sanding jig for the drum sander, and the slow turner for applying the finish. Good instructional video. I enjoyed the detailed explanations.

    Great to see these procedures demonstrated. My favorite parts were the gluing and slow turning for drying.

    Interesting. As a wood pattern maker we made a lot of shapes with tapered and canted staves.
