Nowadays, they’re constantly fighting high-level enemies and worrying about the Yonko and World Government. I just want some more episodes/chapters of them messing around and celebrating victory on their ship together. Maybe after they defeat Kaido we’ll get some more.
Emanuel Henrique Since I watched the anime, ads and all, it burned me out. After binging from Romance Dawn to Thriller Bark, I took a two year break. Then I came back and I absolutely love post-Sabaody One Piece. Being able to see new versions of the Straw Hats after the time skip was like rediscovering the show. Also, the situation with Ace really reinvigorated my interest in the show. However, I still reminisce about how romantic it was when I first watched it. The music and atmosphere were so calming and joyous, even when I wasn’t enjoying what I was seeing.

And a leader who earns loyalty through action rather than cheap words.

They did literally nothing except serve as occasional info dumps. I think Yosaku told them about Jinbei.

Rewatching this recently and the similarities between this scene, and the scene where sanji hears pudding confessing to Reiju got me crying in the club
Man, This Arc Made me Fall in Love with One Piece. And Rereading made me fall in Love with Sanji as a Character. This got me hooked and I wanted more. It used to be something to do to get my friend to stop Bugging me about it ,but after Baratie I kept watching and got better and BETTER.
I just noticed that the early episodes of one piece felt alot like 1950's movies. with the soundtrack and the animation style. It was hard for me to get into it all those years ago at first, but after I started watching and appreciating older movies around that time... I guess that's where I came round.
Sanji couldn't light his cigarette just like he couldn't when Pudding broke his heart. Luffy wouldn't accept Sanji as his cook unless he asked himself just like he wouldn't help Momonosuke unless he asked for it himself. I love One Piece so much!
I kind of understand why Sanji was so pissed off at Zeff's response It was not just because his teacher disrespected his cooking, or his father figure did it It was mainly because that particular moment might have given Sanji a reminder of his ex family, making him believe that even after all these years he still couldn't find a better HOME But then he eavesdropped and got that LOVE that he was wanting for all those years So, to think he still made up his mind to leave his FAMILY in order to pursue his goal is just emotional
