We've missed you Stacy❤
Thank you 💕
Hello from the future! I'm watching every video that someone has done on the Alpine Bloom and I found you! Your A.B. is stunning, as well as your other knits! I hope all is well with your daughter and that things have settled a little. My sister has autism, and I remember everything that my mother and family has gone through. I grew up in Virginia and the state was able to provide all kinds of services for us, so I hope you were/are able to find those resources wherever you are. ❤
The tank would look beautiful over a loose neutral button down shirt in the fall!
A lacy bralette or cami would be so cute under your v-neck tank ❤
your alpine bloom is gorgeous!! love your color scheme!
YES!!! Come on over, Stacy, we’d love to have ya in Seattle. Two friends and I will also be at Flock Fiber Festival on Sat morning. It’s going to be crazy BUZY so hopefully I’ll run into you and your mom. Have a wonderful time on your adventure.
Love your Alpine Bloom and your hair also looks great!
HI Stacy, i just wanted to reach out and say thank you for being so helpful on showing the best instruc5 on half n half triangle, you rely helped me. XOXO
So glad to see you back!! I've missed watching your videos!
Olympic National Park is amazing and it is like 3 parks in one because of the coastline, rainforest and mountain parts. You are going to love it! Do you have time to spend a day at Mt. Rainier? You can drive from Seattle and see it and do a hike and come back to Seattle in a day. I hope you have a great trip.
have an amazing time in beautiful WA!
Enjoy Seattle and the Rain forest!!! But as you said, the risk of willing to move there is real :D
For the tank you can use it as a slipover on top of a long sleeved tee or turtleneck in the fall🧶🤎
You’re gorgeous!!! I love the glasses on you esp with your curly hair! I am here for you and your vibe! Oh yeah and the knits!!!!!! 🤣 Love all the half and half’s. Love seeing all your linen quill colors it helped me pick mine! 🙃😁 aka LOVE it all!
Oh thank you so much!!
I love the mint… you can make it work!!!! I’m a neutral … monochromatic as well. Too big…that’s ok! I like to good too big as well. You are beautiful and this shows in your work. Thank you!
Hey
Wath a beautifulle pink top you have made!!!! I am jalouse😱...grts Linda 😊
For the tank, get some elastic thread and just use your darning needle to thread it all the way around the neckline. You can really cinch in the neckline without changing the texture of the piece.
Wear your first finished object as a layering piece. I can see it over a black or brown turtle neck. Its very cute. As far as your sample 1/2 and 1/2 triangles wrap, I love the light blue and the yellow color. The last one you showed.
The PNW (the mountains, River, ocean) is stunning; be careful or you’ll totally be moving. I know so many Michigan transplants in Portland 😂
You’re back!!! I was concerned. I enjoy your vlogs whenever you can do one. Life happens, I know that place so well……
Loving that piece on you. It really is such a pretty piece. Saw you on IG and just wow! Have a wonderful travel with your mom. Sounds great. Enjoy!
Missed seeing you! So happy to hear you and your mom are visiting Seattle and attending Fiber Flock. I will be attending Friday with my daughters. It’s our first fiber festival! You will adore Seattle. After visiting it for the first time a couple years ago and falling in love the Pacific Northwest, I bought a place two years ago 😅. Enjoy the festival and all the breathtaking scenic mountains.
When you said “summer of color” I thought, “Summer of George!”… if you know Seinfeld… if you don’t then I just sound like a weirdo. Love your color choices! 😅
😂 I always quote Seinfeld…….watch the reruns whileI knit too.
Love the green glasses. I just got green glasses too!
All your projects look gorgeous!
Yay, I've so missed seeing you! I'm all over the show with colours, it's definitely about what makes your heart sing, screw what 'suits your complexion'' etc!
Okay, if you don’t knit with mustard seed and bird’s blue I’m going to need to.
Have fun on your trip!
I’m so loving your glasses!
Lovely to see you again. I love the color combo of the sweater your are wearing.
Such a joy to see you here. I love your alpine bloom. I have two skeins of ghost ranch in my stash and I think I might try to find a good main color while at flock! I love that bougie beaver!!
Ahh thank you so much 💕💕
You could come to New Zealand to see some mountain ranges.
I wish that was possible! Hopefully one day!
It’s ok Stacy you do you
So wonderful to see you and the excitement for new colors and knits! You inspire me as always! Thank you for sharing your time.
Great to see you again. Your Alpine bloom is beautiful. Enjoy Seattle and the Pacific Northwest- you will definitely fall in love with the area.
Omg I’m so glad you spoke of your trip. I just returned from a x country trip ( including Michigan ) and have to say I really love the Pacific Northwest. I’m now looking into that festival…I’m in Oregon so mayybbee? I need to go? Lol
Stacy! I love all of your colors. You have a great eye for color. Thank you for being bold. Paula
Your Alpine Bloom turned out so pretty!
Thank you!
Hi Stacy, for my two cents, may I suggest to pair the Raw Sienna with your Birds Egg Blue H&HTW….I’m loving that combo. Love your Alpine Bloom…and your Wisp! Xo
Wow! I know you will be blown away! I have not been, but close to it, and I live on the west coast, and a friend went and said it is beautiful, and I too would like to go one day,the park! I love your alpine bloom, I love the lace sleeve and collar on that pattern. Have a great trip! Take care,Melissa.
Wonderful to see you! You are a woman of contrasts! You like pinks and greens and soft pastels but are also drawn to bold statements of color. You are very feminine in looks with long curly hair and you do rock climbing and bike riding. I love it!
I lived in WA for several years and did so much hiking and exploring. I bet you'll LOVE the Hoh Rainforest! If you need a beach suggestion, Ruby beach or Rialto beach are both wonderful. When you're heading to Hoh or the beach, make sure you pop by Lake Crescent. It's a gorgeous drive and has amazing places to pull over and get amazing views. One of my favorite places to visit on a sunny day is the Mount Walker Lookout in the Olympic National Park. It is a drive up the mountain and then a very short walk to the most wonderful views. On a really clear day, you can see all the way to Seattle and Mount Adams! Mount Rainier is also definitely worth considering. Sunrise is an AMAZING drive and has such amazing places to stop and get good views. Paradise is also amazing but I'd say paradise is more for amazing hikes and sunrise is more for a scenic drives and good views. Although Reflection Lake on the paradise side is magical! Enjoy your trip!!
Nice to see your podcast again. Love all the colors that are inspiring you! I live 20 min south of Seattle. We are so excited for FLOCK🐑🐑🐑🐑🐏 You will love it out here in the PNW. If your schedule allows you definitely need to also visit Mt. Rainer National Park. Sunrise is on the northern side and is a shorter trip from Seattle with AMAZING views. And Paradise is BEAUTIFUL! You can hike up and see all the beautiful mountain meadows and the glacier views 🤩 it is a longer drive to the southern side. Amazing day trip.
So glad to see you again, missed you.💕💕💕 love your Alpine Bloom
For me I’d love that Smokey lavender with the red in a Petite Knitter Friday Tee! New combo and I like it!
I am knitting a Purl Soho free pattern called Soirée Scarf in Linen Quill colors Bird's Egg Blue and Peony Pink. Those two colors are beautiful together,, and they both have the same value and intensity.
Soirée Scarf has an Increase half and a Decrease half, like the H+HTW. It's a smaller project than the half wrap, but the process and vibe of both projects are similar. The Soirée Scarf pattern is written in stockinette stitch, but I am using garter stitch instead. Size 4 needle.
So good to see you again. I was worried. Am a fan.
I think making the red the bigger stripe would be so lovely with your skin tone!
Hello Stacy! My sister Lolly and I are screaming and jumping up and down (well jumping in our mind)! We live on the Olympic Peninsula and are going to Flock too! We live18 miles from Hurricane Ridge! You will have to go right by us to get to all the beautiful water falls, lakes, and beaches. I live in Port Angeles and Lolly lives in Sequim. We would love to meet to meet up at Flock. We have tickets for Sunday.
Yay you are back! I’ve missed your videos!!! ❤
Lavender and red is a stunning color combination. Purl Soho's "Quartz" yarn has the colors "Lavender Moon" and "Cardinal Red", which look great together. Quartz is a fingering weight yarn and is put up in 100g hanks of 420 yards, all similar to Linen Quill. It too is a great yarn for the H+HTW.
Edit: Stacy, today I ordered the Quartz yarn in Cardinal Red and Lavender Moon from Purl Soho. I told them you were my inspiration for that color combination. They loved it.
You're going to love Olympic National Park. I love it there. My personal favorite place is Rialto Beach, but it is full of amazing things to see. As someone from the east coast who moved to the west coast 10+ years ago, I know it's going to blow your mind. Seattle is amazing too. I live in Portland now, but Seattle is a place I love to visit. My favorite place there is the arboretum.
That’s so thoughtful of you Kate, Thanks for your positive review,How are you and how’s the weather over there?
Thank you Staci! Your podcasts are always so honest and thoughtful and beautiful. Your colors are inspiring. AND, I always love to see your half and half wraps! Enjoy the trip! It sounds great
Thank you!
I would like to see the half wrap shown in lions brand, hobbii yarns caron cakes etc
I am doing the weekender KAL too, fun! I think you should do a stripe of each on the collar, cuffs and waistband...just a thought! Good to see you!
Hi and so good to see you back. My sister and I are avid knitters and hope to participate in the “weekender” KAL. And we loved that you are coming to the FLOCK in Seattle. And we be live in Port Angeles. We are also part of a very unusual Yarn store called the Emporium. We would love to meet you and take you and your mom out for lunch. See you at the flock and in P A!!
I’m going to Flock on Friday night!
Do something red and lavender for Eliza.
This was so much fun! I also tested Alpine bloom tee and really enjoyed seeing all the different takes! Btw purl soho has 25% off on all there yarns this weekend and I may have purchased some❤
It was such a fun test!
So good to see you! I was actually just thinking about you! Love your knits! Embrace your inner colorists! I have never been a neutrals, so welcome!!!!❤
Your hair looks beautiful! I wanted to order half half in the colors fresh pickles and Rhubarb pink for a bright pop. Not sure yet but that is my first idea. My other one was dark iris juniper green but not sure if fresh pickles might be too light for the iris. So hard to pick. Ugh
I'm knitting the Soirée Scarf in Juniper Green and Fresh Pickle. Those two greens look very rich together.
💛💛💛
Yay!!! You made my day.
Awh thank you! I'm so glad!
Maybe there’s something going around. I have been expanding my color range too.
