That’s the thing. J.Lo’s If You Had My Love was originally for Michael Jackson with different verses. Chante’s story doesn’t really complete add up. Also Rodney Jerkins gave Chante (If I Gave You), J.lo (If You Had My Love) and Whitney Houston (If I Told You That) but Whitney’s production was changed at the last minute because Rodney felt her voice was overpowering her production.

Just saw Chante live in person at the City Winery, in Atlanta. Sang better in person than on the radio. She was entertaining, beautiful, happy. And she sang some Sade, sweetest Taboo. She had us f@ucked up. I'm convinced that the real world does not want real talent. SMH. Now I'm a fan for life.

Been doing a quick catch up on her life and career. She's so professional, so skillful, just so damn GOOD! Chante really deserves every Award going. Her Singer performances revealed a Powerhouse Artist of Tina Turner stature with commanding stage presence, and all the nuances of Whitney etc., but smooth as butter. She's put the decades into her craft and it shows. With this new step out Internationally - I get the feeling her star will soar.

My favorite Chante Moore song is "As if we never met." She is phenomenal. But we can't forget about Rachelle Ferrell. She can't hit whistle notes, sing jazz and gospel and play piano. She is the purple unicorn. Lastly, there are two singers, with amazing whistle registers and exceptional agility. Debelah Morgan and Desiree Coleman. Now those two ladies are truly unsung.
