When he has you cornered in a loop you must hold w and hope theres a loop or get hit.
The banner is when he messes up or leaves you alone with the guard. So its impossible to do anything with him and the guard doing something.
Thats what they mean.
And holding w is a universal thing. Not a direct counter like avoiding lines of sights for huntress or slinger or something

For a while I thought I was the only one that actually liked the knight
I’d like to say I’m somewhat of a knight main myself. I’ve sadly already put probably around 30 hours into knight and I’ve somehow just learned to make him effective without being able to explain it. My only advice is plop down the guard in any and all situations. To break pallets, when picking up a survivor, as scouting to protect gens, and if you’re doing it right no one is ever able to loop properly. Multitasking is the name of the game
Agreed, the average player thinking that the guards are just for anti-looping is very naive, they're incredibly versatile and useful for every situation, being able to apply so much pressure. The only issue I have is how clunky it can be to use, everything else is perfect.
I find it insane that this dude probably went through days worth of content to find the best moment than took days worth of time to edit it all into only 6 mins, absolutely insane

I’ve never played killer too consistently, but i find the knight really fun to play. He isnt the best killer in the world but his unique power makes him enjoyable
The bloodborne quote is funny, the Knights general aesthetic reminds me alot of the game, especially his Ultra Rare skin, he has almost the same hair as Gascoigne

It's actually kinda crazy, if you just kick a downed pallet with one of your knights by default when in a loop, the survivor has basically zero counterplay opportunity. If they hop across before you can kick it, they get chased by the knight. If you kick it, they can't hop across and you get a free hit.

My favorite part of DBD is survivors who think there are rules killers have to play by
Most interesting part for me, I couldnt stop staring at the part of the video was the disparity of completed generators and lack of hook count.
The knight doesn't start being good til he gets his 3 or 4 gen locked down. So most games are pretty one sided til there's only 1 or 2 gens left to pop. Kinda similar to hag or trapper only instead of setup, knight specializes in zoning.

my first slug race was with a knight a few hours ago, we were all dwights (plus a random baby dwight who unfortunately didn't stick around for the race) and we all just goofed off as he slowly got us to two hooks with The Boys ™. he was so fun and I got so excited when we were all got lined up and he started downing us. I got in second, thank you knight for being fun with us :]

I got knight through iri shards, which wasn't easy but defo worth it. Knight (Or as I call him, the pigeon because of his helmet) is definitely more powerful than most people expect him to be.

Knight and Wesker are my two mains. I know people don't like playing against him but I think hes fun. I mainly use his friends to scout and listen for generators being worked on. His perks are great too!
