I love your blog, I'm prom Paris FRANCE, I see we both share a great passion for Beverly Kenney ..
this is amazing goood music
Super post, Pedro! This was Eddie Costa's last LP with him as leader (Trio, with Wendell Marshall on bass and Paul Motian on drums) before his death in a car accident in 1962 -- probably the jazziest album ever released on Dot, of all labels! He, of course, appeared on dozens of other albums by other outfits and artists, such as Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall on Columbia in 1962.
Jazz is just a world of endless discoveries. Wonderful album full of delicious delicacies. Evocative of those late night, smoke filled jazz clubs. The band is in perfect shape, in one with their audience. Love this album from beginning to end.
Your collection is exquisite. You have impeccable taste!
I love it. From South Africa
I especially love the last piece What’s To Ya. So dynamic. Makes me think of another hero of mine: Lennie Ttristano.
Jeez, thank you, Eddie, for the music itself. Peace...
Fine music!
Thank you, Pedro. I absolutely love everything in your channel. I've been listening to many of your uploads multiple times in the last few years. It's part of my life now.
Thanks xxx Pedro I admire all of your music player
I loved this. My speakers....they never do that. Great recording.
Gracias Maestro, tu canal no tiene precio.
Eddie Costa, together with Ray Bryant, was one of the really two handed modern jazz pianists ( well Bud Powell was another!). Not that I don;t like the others but I really prefer two-handed swingin' pianists. He was also a pretty good vibraphone player. Too bad he died so early. This is a very good album. Thanks for the upload. I discovered Eddie Costa in my teens, in Switzerland, ( 1958/59) on an LP with Hal McKusick on alto sax and Art Farmer on trumpet. He impressed me immediately then.
this album I am talking about was of the CORAL label and it is really worth listening to. you will find it on CZcams. under Hal McKusick/Art Farmer quintet.
Great cover art

Hi Pedro. Real smooth Jazzy tune. Big like. 😊 All the best/Kjell 🎸 👍
I love your channel! thank you.
Q pianote👌🔥
Agradecido por estos encuentros. Si hay "ojo avizor", puede extenderse la expresión a "oído avizor", y aplica a las virtudes de Pedro Nóbrega.
so cool. its red hot!
esto es oro para los beatmakers
No te pases! Qué buen álbum
Yeeeeeeeeeeeees Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaz!
💗💗💗

Great album, but you have to wonder why the stereo sound stage mix has the high piano notes on the left, and low keys on the right. The opposite of the piano itself.
💚🥀🌱🙄
good musica
Great trio, I am hearing for the first and is going in my head.I am going to search for this copy,.
