Some of the statements about the boat of Mr Harm Scholten were:
“The design team of X-Yachts succeeded to design a new X4.0, on which I have not much to remark. X stands for speed. X stands for quality. X stands for comfort.”
“With wind force 3-4 we measured 8-9 knots with the gennaker. With the jib and mainsail at 30°, we did 7 knots medium speed and sometimes the meter went to 8,2 knots.”
“The lines, colors and shapes are right and harmonious. The designers succeeded to create space, peacefulness and light under deck.”
“Conclusion: the X4.0 is the perfect boat for the real sailor. There are no remarks to be made."
