In 46, if you show blitz instead of pressing, it will auto pull down your safties for you and press your outside corners
been running 6-1 for awhile but these little difference you showed helped a lot!!

This has helped me out a lot. Do you have other videos where you show how to setup defenses?
The Sam will screams if you don’t pinch/crash and hover mlb over same side dt as the rb. Just need to make sure the line recognizes the mlb as a blitzer and loop out for coverage as the play starts.

I have been running 4-3 6-1 for a couple years. Couple things that burn that Defense is seam passes or mid sideline passes. I like putting my corners on cloud flats.

This Defense is 🔥I was getting picks galore
Biggest problem with Defense this year is that player literally wont react to the ball even if the ball is coming directly towards them. I thought they would probably have those better reactions behind the coverage thresholds of 90 or 95 but nothing changed since we broke those. Tried to work around it with acrobat which simply doesnt light up. Cant even count the times me or my opponent convert things you really shouldnt and it takes away from a realistic experience
U need lurker or pick artist for them to react . Abilities matter this year just like any other year
Acrobat makes them dive not make them animate on the ball constantly . Also acrobat has been patched bad compared to madden 23
The abilities seem to be the problem to me and the O lines getting absolutely blasted every time I decide to pass.
pick artist helps and also get good at switching on, more important than ever this year

when you adjust the zone drops to 25 and 0 how does that actually affect the defense? and when should you adjust then
They are good for playing corner routes or any deep outside routes. You adjust based on how deep your opponent is throwing the ball.
I still spin big nickel out of chiefs book, you can put the big nickel package on nickel over formation & have access to way more plays.
Been running 6-1 for a couple maddens most definitely the best I double maple an jus put the two safeties to play deep w deep ko’s

I remember when madden was just a game you played with a friend 1v1 while sitting in the same room. I really do live in a dystopian nightmare.
Sending 4 (or even 5 if you ask an old head isn't a blitz), just a traditional pass rush.
it’s so annoying to play against but if you know how to play spread you can basically destroy this defense.
Anybody who plays me with this, I will annihilate with my spread eagles offense. Unless they are godly with it lol 😅
Yea thats really it’s biggest flaws. It’s great against run but is horrible against spread and especially against all the rpo cheesers.I’d rather just stick with dollar and run inside stuff

What exactly does Match do? Make the player in their zone follow them?
Yea makes them not sit in their true zone and actually try to play the closest route to their zone

How the hell do you shade the cb’s and make the flats?
when the players come out to get set for the play press y or triangle then up on the right stick
only shade underneath if they keep using the flat if they’re throwing bombs shade overtop
