Toronto really deserves way more credit for its food scene. Best Asian, Thai, Viet, Chinese, food in North America? The Egyptian street food is something I have never seen before. Looks so good.
The china town around Kensington market has great food at very affordable prices.
Toronto due to cost alone is one of the best food cities in all of North America
@@CongressSux1776 We have American tourists, but I always wonder why we don't have more because their dollar stretches about 35%+ here.
@@skatingcanuck9837
Because most Americans don’t leave their own state, let alone travel to a different country, even Canada.
Their loss
@@CongressSux1776 I’ve heard that, and that many Americans don’t have passports. I wish I could see the actual numbers. I know the majority have not visited Canada or know anything about Canada. My world would be so small if all I knew was Canada.
@@Mckenzieharrs There is a small section of the city in the East end with Egyptian restaurants. The only thing I wish we had more of is South East Asian cuisine. We have lots of Thai, Viet, but I wish we had more Malay, Burmese, Cambodian, and Lao restaurants.
Gluten-free egg tarts!! I never thought I’d be able to enjoy this amazing looking pastry in my lifetime. Thanks for thinking of us gluten intolerant pastry lovers.. Toronto here I come!!!
That liver sandwich has such a good ratio. Even if you don't like liver you have to admire how well put together that sandwich is.
And it’s only 4.99 cad
As a portuguese person, I’m so happy to see how many people love our egg tarts. They truly are incredible
There’s a lot of great portuguese dishes! But these egg tarts are bomb
Egg tarts are synonymous with "overrated."
Golly that crust on the egg tarts is making my mouth water. Would love to sample a savory vs sweet one
Amazing Egg Tarts in Toronto ! I Love the varieties ! Interesting Eygptian sandwiches ! Amazing Thai pizza's ! Thank you for sharing Mikey !

Portuguese egg tarts are one of the best desserts on the planet. Anytime I come across then I always buy them!
I use to work on the 3rd floor of King Square in Markham where you had the Thai Pizza. We use to eat there and I have to say even though I'm not a big fan of Thai food, their pizza was really good.
You should say what these meals cost for people that want to try them now and for posterity. Thank you for your videos.
Holy crap!!! Thanks Mike! After I saw this video last night and I just came back from Soi, I have to say that pizza wowed me! Everything came together so well! Who would have thought Thai green curry can go with the cheese and pizza so well! Please release more videos on Toronto! I am a regular of 6 donuts since they opened, will go to try the Nata if I have the chance
Thank you for your feedback mike, really appreciated and thank you all for the positive comments towards Tuts Egyptian Restaurant The location is 567 king street west, toronto, we are always there to welcome you all.
Thank you Hingish for all your hard work and dedication 💛 We appreciate you 🙏
@@TutsEgyptian Mike didn’t even call your restaurant by it’s actual name 😂
I love ❣️ Thai food, and that Thai pizza is so unique and sounds good to eat. The Egyptian street food was something I would like to try, never had it before but it sure looked yummy 😋. Why couldn't they have an Egyptian restaurant liked that in NY 😔.
Didn't miss the "one of my favourites" again in the video lols.
Mike eats the most interesting and yummy food, at som of the most fascinating places! 😋😋😋🥰🙂☺️
Lol @"grilled over an open flame" when it's a butane torch and pam being sprayed on 😂 this guy will eat anything.
So they are stating it is chorizo? It looks a lot like laab which is definitely Thai.
It's actually Sai Oua, the herby northern thai sausage, which we make in-house without the casing 🙏
@@soisnacks i thought it was khua kling that damn that look really good tho as an Sai Oua lover😋😋
This is why Toronto is unaffordable. Its awesome and everyone wants to live here. The Pho fusion looks really amazing and while you are there you can take in some culture at the AGO and then swing by Juicy Dumplings for your next meal.
It's a complete dump of a city and people from the outside are being fooled to come here lol
No way they spayed the beef with Pam cooking spray😂
That pho gravy looked….interesting
American dishes with a Thai/ Korean twist is a win in my book
My own city... and I never knew about these places. I go to the AGO once in a while and never noticed that Dzo Viet place across the street. Definitely will be stopping by on my next trip.
“Fragrant” is the new “Umami”.
We have a great Portuguese place in Brampton (just outside of Toronto)
Those pasteis de natas look/sound delicious!😋
When was this filmed? The egg tart place is alrdy closed permanently.
What? Noooooo 😢
Because egg tarts aren't that good.
The way he says cali-flower
Cowli-flour😂
Tut's is the best!!
Thanks for the love! We appreciate you 💛
Mike your a good dude keep up the great video's buddy!
I just know that Portuguese egg tart will be in the top 10 food list of mikey for 2024 🤤
I really appreciate your variety. I haven't heard of these places but I want to check them out!
The pastel de nata from Jason's are legit! 🇵🇹🇨🇦
Its 'naTa' though, not 'naDa' Mike. Nada means 'nothing' in Portuguese. 😂
They all say nada 😂😂
The photine looks heavenly!
Egg tarts are so fantastic ! I’m so jealous they looked fantastic wish I had a bag full of them right now I would muller the lot 👍
That pork bone with vermicelli is just kanom jeen. Sripraphai in Woodside, Queens has an amazing version of it (N11).
How many times can be your favorite at once? Multiple dishes and each one you eat next is your favorite. Did you ever obtain a better photo from your wedding?
Those egg tarts look so good, love egg tarts
2nd or 3rd generation of Vietnamese in Australia too now so lots of more interesting stuff
Hello mike we enjoy watching your videos keep the food adventures coming everything you ate looks amazing!! 😀🎉🙂❤️❤️
Sorry, those are Pho Cheese Fries and not poutine. Poutine requires cheese curds, not just shredded mozz.
I've had lots of different types of poutine here in Canada, and they always have fries, cheese curds, and some sort of gravy.
Anything else is cheese fries.
But those were glorious looking eggs tarts! Some good egg tarts in Vancouver, but nothing like those in my opinion.
Ontario is full of places that make "poutines" without cheese curds. It's unfortunate but it is what it is
@@Ash_Wen-li the key ingredient in poutine is the cheese curds. Anything else is cheese fries. It is what it is.
@@Ash_Wen-li Ohh here in Vancouver as well...but less and less everyday now.
I don't mind they use shredded cheese but just call it Pho Cheese Fries instead. :)
We don't have many dishes associated with Canada and the ones we do have, should be preserved.
Omg get over yourself. It's fries, cheese and gravy. It's not a cure for cancer.
@@karmas_comingI'm guessing you aren't Canadian. 😂
Here for the C-Dawg comments
The downtown location of the egg tart closed down but there are great ones all over the city.
Egg tart ecstasy
I have never seen such a variety of egg tarts! I could listen to that crunch all day! I'd happily dive into that ingenious bowl of pho-tine too😋😋
Can me some1 tell where he is eating this thai pizza? it looks like he's in an empty suburban trainstation at midnight?! xd no one is there...
We are so happy to have scratched that liver itch 😋 Thank you for the review Mike 💛
How much was all that food he got?
@@SmallGuy845Mike got all 3 combos:
Tut’s (2 sandwiches + fries + drink) 12.99
Tut’s Value (3 sandwiches + fries + drink) 17.99
Tut’s Plus (4 sandwiches + fries + drink) 21.99
@@SmallGuy845 Each sandwich is 5 cad / 3.7 usd
I know it's late, nearly time for bed but I could with a delicious bowl of noodles right now!! 😋
Tut's is one of my favorites. I live close to it, I'm definitely a regular!
Thanks for the love! We appreciate you 💛
Toronto looks warm in January :D
damn all those spots look bomb🔥
Thank you for highlighting Toronto restaurants! Such a blessing to be able to eat foods from around the world in one city❤
11:08 Tut’s is the best 😋
My goodness, I'm eating a Thai pizza watching CZcams and Mikey is eating one too
Anything pandan is my favorite
Thanks for making me hungry as fridge again!
Love your content Mike! You're amazing!😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
I was introduced to Pastel de Nata in my local Lidl and have been hooked ever since. I need to get some from an authentic bakery because those will be even more amazing.
*Looks like Mike hasn’t been wearing his retainer since his bottom teeth is separating like the red sea.*
wow this video made me hungrier than pretty much any of your others lol, they're all great, but this all looks so good
wow Toronto‼️👍️😆
Food always looks good!!
I'm going to need restaurants in Toronto to stop calling their fries with cheese poutine when they don't use cheese curds 😭
Why does that "gravy" look like snot!!
starch
Yeah I was thinking the same lol, the gravy was looking slimy
Oh, you could get real Portuguese egg tarts in Kensington Market! A couple of bakeries made them. I miss them so much!
Pho-nomenal… I see what you did there. 🤣
Wow, I’m so early! Bring on the food!
oh that Thai spot is still around? The pizza is excellent👍
I need those egg tarts in my life! As always Mike a great food tour video!
omg the food looks so good!! love u mikey and your vids!
Nice welcome back to Canada!
Hey Mike! Happy Friday & weekend.. Nothing but amazing food. Delicious 🤤😋 Enjoy! ❤️🐞😁
Buttery crispy crust 😮💨
First love from Toronto
I wanna try the egg tarts and poutine :D great video!
Going to Toronto this week!! Amazing video.
No Cheese Curds = Not a Poutine hahah!
With all that fresh herbs and bean spouts, looks like a vietnamese bowl of noodles.
Mikey I've followed you since around 2017 and I gotta be honest bro. The videos have been all over the place on both channels. One video you're in Vancouver, a few days later it's a video in Seoul. A few more days later, it's Singapore or somewhere else. And both channel themes are the same. Why not do a series of one place before moving on to the next place instead of just releasing content? It's hard to follow these days man. Just my two cents as a fan but keep on eating my man! 🙏🏽
The egg tarts looks delicious 🤤
Hello Mike and everyone fram Olympia, WA. Love catching up with the videos.
Oh my gosh, so much deliciousness, but I'm still thinking about the Egyptian sandwiches...🤤
Pretty fancy for street food❤
You definitely need to check out San Remo Bakery in Mississauga. Some of the best donuts and baked goods ever!
Never had Egyptian food. Looks amazing!
this is Great!!!!!
Peace and love ❤️
Da way dat dey do.
Shredded cheese. Blasphemy!!!
Thank you. In Canada we should at least do our own dish correctly. wtf
If you are a tourist and that was your first impression of a Canadian poutine…. 😢
Thai sticky rice my fav dessert while travelling there a few years ago 🤤
World class kicking on those delicious tarts!!!!!
I'm there with you, Mike, those pasteis de nata are INCREDIBLE! One of my all time favorite pastries, too. The "Pho-tine" actually looked pretty good, and that Egyptian street food really caught my eye. Looks like Tut's really knows what they're on about! Thai pizza? Heh, why not? Another interesting video, for sure.
When are webgoing to an Australian and New Zealand vid Mikey ?
I’m here to stop anyone from saying first
Protect this person at all cost 😂

As a Canadian, that Phởtine looked amazing. Will definitely try it next time I'm in Toronto.
What a wide assortment of food.
Your sound is too low
I’ll have that.
Hey Mikey
Another great video ! Good job
Cheers from Miami
Pho-tein…how to turn a healthy noodle soup into a unhealthy heart attach meal.
3:24 perfectly flaky eggy sweet cream! Now I want some of those tarts
