I had a 98 yr old woman I helped shop for at costco. She joked one time to me about being 'optimistic about using up the 2 packs of 24 rolls of toilet paper before running out. (She lived 3 more years)

We had practical joke rules too.
1. No one can get hurt.
2. You can't destroy anything that doesn't belong to YOU.
3. You can't make a mess unless YOU'RE willing to clean it up.
4. You can't do anything to hurt someone's reputation or job, or get them in trouble in any way.
Otherwise anything goes.

OMG thank you for the memory that brought back. Didn't realize hearing my mom yell at my grandpa to slow down, he said I can't, I gotta stay ahead of the cops cuz I ain't got no licence. My grandpa taught me how to drive.
My daughter breeds and sells chicks. For some reason the people she bought the farm from left stacks of fried chicken buckets.
You guessed it. She delivers chicks to her customers, in fried chicken buckets.
LOL I know somebody who has chickens and they named them, each, a different first-name. I.e. "Rotisserie, Marcella, Nugget" etc. It would not be so amusing but they aren't for eating :)
@@paperclips4113 our grandkids named our laying hens that way too. There was Nugget, Bones, Stew, and a few others I can't recall. Then there was the one outlier... Beast. Named by my only grandson. Lol

I first learned about Tom when I was living in Louisville. Some of his prank videos are fantastic! He's got one on CZcams called "Prisoner Drive Thru Prank" where he's driving a van, wearing an orange jumpsuit and shackles, and there's a guard-looking guy pretending to be unconscious in the passenger seat. Good clean family fun!

As a 41 yo Black Man that grew up watching Def Comedy Jam and Comic View etc and NOT being a "christian" I COMPLETELY LOVE Dry Bar Comedy. I've watched soooooo many great male and femal comedians here💯👑❤️💪🏿

Still remember when he pranked a pizza place and told the delivery guy that this homeless guy was an under cover and paid for the pizza/nice tip and then the homeless guy got a surprise dinner. Nicest prank I ever saw 👍😊

Some years ago my work group moved from one office to another a few cities away, and no one in the new location wanted us to connect to their office machines. We weren't allowed to bring any with us from the old office. I made a sign for the cabinet above my desk -- "Welcome to Dysfunction Junction." I love Tom Mabe's material.

I met my husband when we were 12 yo after his family moved in next door to mine. We started "liking" eachother at around 14. He says he liked me the day we met, lol, but it was mutual at 14yo. We dated throughout school, moved in together at 20 and it's been steady since. We have a 16 yo daughter now. We keep eachother young and we have very few stories to tell that we aren't both in. Hasn't always been easy but I wouldn't be with anyone else.
Love the minivan rental idea.. deck around it! 500 bucks a month!

We also live in Kentucky. It's a great place to play practical jokes because most of the folks don't realize you're goofing on them. Just remember, if your playing practical jokes in Kentucky, everybody carries a gun! You better pray that THEY think it's funny!

Yeah, they didn't like it when I yelled fire in that movie theater.
Everyone left and I'm sitting there, ALONE, waiting for an hour and a half for the movie to start.
I fell asleep, missed the beginning, so I needed to entertain myself for 90 minutes.
Turns out yelling gun or bomb will get a solid 45 minutes. Don't try both, eventually they'll notice there's only you yelling.
If THAT happens, just slowly walk towards the exit and say "where is my wallet? I had almost 100 dollars in it."
That'll buy you a solid 90-120 seconds.
Gimme the colonel's secret recipe or else. I carry 2 guns!

This is the type of human being you would want to have as a neighbor. I felt like I know him for long. He exudes trust. He is incredibly likable. The last song to his grandpa was quite touching, knowing that even if we are lucky to live that long, eventually this will be our fate. It triggered lots of thoughts in my mind.
He said I do clean comedy. No swearing, no cursing. That's so great and so rare

I never get tired of listening to Tom's stories of pranks especially the one about standing outside a mortuary in a Grim Reaper costume. If true it would be YOU TUBE Gold.
This guy is so silly and has such a cute sense if humor, loved it all...but what got me giggling for 30 minutes and I could not stop was when he sang "take these broken wings" lol lol 😆 if he was my friend, I'd always ask him to sing karaoke 🎤 just so I could get a bad case of the irrepressible giggles lol. Tom, you made me laugh myself silly on several occasions during this set!! I still visit my brother in Highview when I get back to the U.S. and always make a trip downtown to Caufield's!! I started doing magic and shopping there back in 1980.
I grew up in the Louisville area from 1966 to 1975 and came back to KY after the navy in 1979 to 1982. It's nice to hear the hometown accent!

I'm pretty sure they used to have some of his material on the "John-Boy and Billy Big Show." I loved that show but the station that carried it (I think it was in Keokuk, IA) dropped it for some reason. So glad I found this.
