Ahhh so glad you found them fun! Their humor is right up my alley and Dongwoo’s laugh is just the best 😂 I don’t think any group has come out and said they got into fights directly from something. Most of the time the groups plan a general idea of what they are going to do and if they will play something up as a joke. Infinite were the first group ever on weekly idol (the variety show with the two male hosts) and have been guests on it the most so they have long running gags with the hosts, who they are also really close to. Like Sunggyu being awful at random play dance and dancing in general which Sunggyu himself plays up on variety. There is a really good compilation of them being a mess on weekly idol. Just from groups I know 2nd gen groups talk a bit more openly about getting into fights and arguments between each other and Infinite has talked about how early in their career they would sometimes fight and didn’t always like each other but also that’s pretty normal when you stick 7 15-20 year olds together in a dorm. They are all super close now most recently Woohyun talked about how all the members earlier in the year rushed to see him when he was in the hospital for surgery, for what he revealed like last month was to remove a GIST (cancer), and how it made him really emotional bc they are like his family.
Oh goodness, the moment I read 7 15-20 year old I just imagined the actual nightmare of it all haha! I mean there has to have had fight for sure! I actually find this group to be very endearing!
Key has often talked about how much Shinee fought in the early years. He said the members finally got along after they all got their own places. I’ve also heard Stray Kids mention how they occasionally fought and how Changbin is one of the calmer ones but when he does get mad the younger members all text each to duck and cover. 😂 And SuJu has so many hilarious stories of their early fights. Those are the stories they always tell when they are roasting each other. I mean they not only live together and work together 24/7 but their schedules are all over the place too. No regular bedtimes or mealtimes. They might be awake for 36 hours at a time. It’s actually a miracle more groups don’t disband or completely hate each other off camera.
@@kristenblack6026 the infamous minkey cold war that lasted for like 2 years lmao Taemin has said that they really didn't start working and thinking of themselves as a team unit until Sherlock. Yeah since I follow many older groups those are the ones I know of and they tended to tell stories like that on the older variety shows like Strong Heart. On my favorite Infinite stories about fighting in the early days is Myungsoo and Sungyeol got into a really bad argument so Myungsoo went to Sunggyu and asked how they should solve it. To which Sunggyu apparently went something to effect of 'idk just fight each other' so then Myungsoo and Sungyeol punched each other made their makeup staff angry but that did solve the problem 😂
@@Pamanda666 Lol, sounds like something my parents would say. They never let my sister and I fight but my mom always told me if someone bullies you at school just kick them in the shins! My favourite kpop fight story is Siwon and Ryeowook, I forgot the context of the fight but Siwon asked are you confident you're ok with never seeing me again and Ryeowook yelled I am confident! Literally all of them have told this story mimicing Ryeowook's voice. 😆 It's how I know they are really friends because I have two friends for 20 yrs and that's all we do is roast each other for past transgressions. Also the idea of tiny Ryeowook fighting Siwon is hysterical.
There is a playlist by Awesome Infinite that has basically all their appearances on WI! It has a lot of videos because the early ones split into 4 parts (and the quality isn't the best rip being a international kpop fan in the 2010s) and includes any time they were featured or guest mc'd
@@Killdeer25 Oh my gosh! Yes absolutely! I was gonna wait til the killing voice vid to drop my comment about their variety shows if you wanted to get into them because they are so funny. The Weekly Idol episodes are a great place to start since each episode is self contained for each promotional period but I would recommend watching them in order of their appearance since they have running jokes. As well as their most recent little variety show on their official channel from this year is also a good starting point- the premise is they are pretending to apply for jobs at the company to Sunggyu. Then there are two much older variety shows Sesame Player and Ranking King from closer to their debut time. Their variety shows in terms of release dates go: Sesame Player (9 episodes around 40mins), Ranking King (15 episodes around 40mins), This is Infinite (7 episodes around 40 mins), Infinite Showtime (12 episodes around 45/50mins) and then Infinite Company 2023 (8 episodes + 2 bonus episodes under 20mins each). I would be happy to provide links or whatever- I constantly go back and rewatch their varieties all the time!
