dear annie, making my planner pretty is also just my hobby, not a business or obligation. over here in serbia there is not a single planner community, not a single interest of doing such a thing. scrapbooking -what is that?! this the reaction when i mention my interests to someone. so, being a huuuge fan of yours (and your voice, ha ha ha) i loooove waking up and seing you uploaded a new video. i finish my tasks for the morning and can't wait to find my coffee or tea break to just lean and enjoy. keep doing it, girl, you sunshine :)

I have such a beautiful TN cover and the size has been perplexing how to use/what inserts etc. that I just haven't started. I have one insert finished from one year ago and it is a scrapbook of a trip. The practical side? not so much so it 'sits' idle. Thank you thank you. The links for types of inserts, etc. will get me moving at last!! Great video rambles and all!

You should try Oli Clips to help keep pages open when writing. I love keeping two to get the pages on both sides ;)
It's probably because I've just finished decorating my fauxdori weekly insert in a Halloween theme, but I totally see a ghostly skull on the front of this notebook. Great video, thanks for sharing!

I'm so glad to see the inserts with a monthly and weekly calendar, I have been dreading the printable kind, so I will definitely be using the link for those! I'm like you, I also got started in a larger planner, actually the Happy Planner which I love, but I am so drawn to the travelers notebooks and purchased a pocket size. I am sadly realizing I may enjoy your size better, but the pocket fits nicely in my purse. ugh. .. dilemmas lol. So glad I came across your video .... subscribed :)

Have you tried essential oils for your allergies? if you diffuse peppermint, lemon and lavender it really helps with allergies. I use Eden Garden oils and love them so much. But the blends aren't the same combo's as the MLM blends.

The bookmark came with the planner addict box. If you like that style, I still have full kit!! It's not my style you are more than welcome to it!
As a person that rides, I deal with a lot of leather lol.. yes rolling a leather will loosen in up and help it not be so stiff.

I'm not sure where you got that specific today bookmark, but I do know that AshyLeighDesigns on Etsy sells basically the same thing. I do believe the sizes of the bookmarks are larger, but they're really adorable. I wish they were a TN folder, but they're cute non the less.

what do you do with all these planners and inserts when you're done with them? do you have anywhere you keep "memories" of your kids and family?
I do keep them; I store them in a decorative storage box. Simple, and there if I want them, but out of the way when I don't.
Do you find this notebook to be extremely heavy in your bag? I was using a pocket size TN but it just wasn't working for me but I love the portability. I like to have everything with me at all times (dr's numbers, lists for gift ideas, monthly and weekly calendars etc) and just need a bigger size. I moved to a Kate spade a couple of weeks ago and am enjoying more room but think I still need more. I have 3 littles 4.5 and under just worried the size might be too big and heavy to have in my bag? Enjoy your videos! My planner is definitely my hobby and my happy place :)
I don't find it too heavy or bulky but it is a personal preference also. I feel like the standard size travelers notebook is like a cross between the paper size of the A5 and the portability of a personal binder. I hope that helps a little?

This is a Foxy Fix travelers notebook, and a direct link is in my description box. I think you may get a discount too, if you use that link. Start with the basics, a monthly calendar and some sort of weekly calendar that you like. Use them daily. Look at them multiple times during the day, and add things as you need them. Also, enjoy the journey and don't stress about finding the "perfect" fit/stuff because there is no such thing, haha. :)
Hi! I'm new to the travelers notebook world and am thinking about ordering a notebook,. Would you be able to tell me what size note book you have? I'm just getting started and I don't want to spend so much money on something that might be too advanced, if that makes any sense? I just saw these notebooks on instagram and fell in love with them, but I really don't know how they work and where to get the pages (and dashboards?) you put in them! Mahalo!
The size I am using is called Standard. It is a larger size, so if you would like to spend less and see what you like, consider the Personal size. I would call it a medium size so it should be big enough, but not too big?

+Sabrina Reddy This brand I'm using is Foxy Fix and they are only available on their website- link in the description box. You can get the Webster Pages version in most JoAnn Fabrics stores. I don't know anything about them though so I couldn't give you any more details.

This is the regular size (also called standard or normal).
I missed where you purchased the washi calendar tape?
The monthly sets are from Planning Made Perfect on etsy (link in the description box). The extra washi tapes I used each month are from my stash and I couldn't tell you where each specific roll is from. I get a lot from Hobby Lobby, and others are sent to me as RAK's (random acts of kindness from other planner girls). I hope this helps!
