I think the main reason people hate this egg hunt so much is mainly because we went from the objectively BEST egg hunt ever to this... very overwhelming egg hunt
And also because this was meant to be the last event at the time
This video was quite a blast of the past while still having your own unique spin on it. I really enjoy these kinds of reviews and your editing is a refreshing break from the recent content forms out there!

I agree that Egg Hunt 2018 was the best one (bc I was there, I played it but I only got 7 eggs lol) but the 2019 one is my favorite! This Egg Hunt gives me a really good vibe that you wouldn't understand

Just as always, a good watch, should do more of these retrospectives, you should do one on ready player one or ready player two if you haven't already!
if people wanna do the egg hunt 2019 lobby badges keep in mind the only badges obtainable are the retro egg, the find the ducks one, and 1-2 puzzle eggs. the next ones is exclusive to exploiters cause the abilities are not working.
also missed things the tutorial egg where u spawn in the hub is litterally unobtainable even if u fly to it with exploits it doesnt give the badge.
the natural disaster egg was avaiable for 1-2 years (the dev forgot to remove it) till the corona virus disaster disaster come out.
and the last is the robot 64 egg which is the most annoying one. i remembered when i did the egg hunt back in the day i wanted to do it but it was apparently unobtainable even tho the egg hunt had 1-2 weeks left till it ended.
btw once u enter a marvel temple u will be softlocked with enjoying endless torture of falling of the map
Another pro you should avtually take into consideration, or at least from my pov, is the soundtrack. Sadly many people don't really care about the ost but omg, that year I loved being in the obby (besides it was not well designed) because I was always listening to the music. If you play the whole album, it gives nostalgia and happiness. I think it's even close to Egg Hunt 2018 soundtrack, I honestly love both soundtracks.
Oh I thought I had talked about it in the video, but yea I agree it’s really good, I tried to use it as much as I could in this video

This year i replayed all of egg hunt 2019’s story mode (the parts that work) and even found a way around the broken boss fight and ngl i enjoyed it but i remember suffering back then trying to get some specific eggs but i still find this whole event better than the hunt or metaverse champions, not by a lot but i enjoyed it way more than before mentioned events
I remember doing this event and only getting the Bee Swarm Simulator egg because of my love of the game, but most of the eggs I didn't know, or were too hard to get for me.

6/10 is honestly a perfect rating. And I totally agree, this egg hunt instilled more hatred simply because the largest community-loved egg hunt had preceded this one. Egg Hunt 2019 waa competing with something it would never be in this format.
It was really really buggy in my phone, This was my first egg hunt since young me can't find egg hunt 2018, I only got a few eggs since how buggy they are. Thanks for not saying it's the worse even if it does things wrong.

Honestly I really liked the 2019 egg hunt, for me it felt unique and it made games more popular, I was also very shocked when robot 64 got in.
Sadly I was too young to even understand how it worked properly, I was 9, now I’m not saying I’m old rn, but yeah, still a great event.
I didn’t understand a thing until 2020 egg hunt which was the last true egg hunt😢
oh. i beat the whole egg hunt 2019 when i was 9 and honestly i enjoyed it a lot, guess it was the best a huge dev hunt could be, with the minigame eggs in the hub world and the final boss stuff. 8 year old me didnt understand that egg hunts gave you hats either so i missed on that 2018 banger but eh. beat the 2020 one as well but that was outright the worst, let alone it being the last proper

the egg hunt was kinda eh, but it gave birth to the most glorious beautiful piece of art. the thanos egg. so that immediately cancels out every single bad thing about the event and makes it the best egg hunt of all time. btw, sleep with one eye open tonight if you decide to even criticize something slightly bad about the event😊

I think egg hunt 2019 is good event,i dont understand why ppl say egg hunt 2019 is bad event,only big problem is scripting and maybe lobby but places is fun to play,design of eggs is great,and i dont think this event is sponsored by marvel is bad.So i this why is egg hunt 2019 good event i give this egg hunt rate is 7/10(this my favorite egg hunt)
