hey. just wanted to let you guys know that I am 13 and I am your biggest fan. I have watched your videos for as long as I can remember. ive always thought that rc trucks were the best but my family doesn't have enough money. so when I watch your videos, I feel like in with you guys. I really look up to you guys. my real name is Henry. I love when you guys off-road and go mudding. I have to be in the hospital for a month cause I have a severely broken leg. just wanted to let you guys know that I look up to you and thanks for the videos. keep up the good work.
Rain here in SW Ontario, plus 6 degree Celsius today and the snow is all melting away. Too wet to film anything but we still went and ran our RC's in the wet... always fun!
looking back through some of your videos I believe I've been subscribed for almost if not the whole 8 years of being on yourube. I've watched every video and absolutely love each and every one. keep up the great vids medic! :)
As a hardcore hobby enthusiast, I strongly encourage you to develop more videos like this!! Tech: yes! Detail: yes! Ahhhhh... INPUT! MORE INPUT! Number 5 is alive :)
Thank you Perry. I know film like this dont pull a lot of views, but I think they are important for folks that really want to know details and intricacies of these models. I am no pro by far - but I know my way around this model pretty well. Thanks for the feedback.. glad to know that I hit the nail on the head for you on this one. :) Jonny 5!! IM ALiVE!! Part 1 was amazing - part 2, was a bonus!!
I run the real deal 300 komatsu everyday dude. I built a thumb attachment that is manual adjustable. works great full scale of course. awesome machine dude.
Thanks Chad, its always great to get feedback from an operator. I always do my best to relate to the folks that run those giant machines - to show them that the smaller scale world is watching! If I didnt have such a bad back - I would have loved to have been an operator! Did you see I have a RC Skid Steer? Full Size :)
When I'm off work I'm in the shed working on my rcs and keeping up to date with all your new vids I entered once I hope I win I would love to put that truck in my collection
Hi, I'd like to thank you for this informative video. I don't know if you're still interested in these excavators or not ... but I wonder how often you had to chance the oil ... because I understand that wear in the aluminum pump casing generates metal particles that attack the seals everywhere .. and the oil gets contaminated, and blackened after a while and need to be changed before damaging the seals ... Thanks again
Awesome in depth look at the Hydraulic System @RCSparks Studio I had oogled these on RC4WD before and the plumbing is just absolutely crazy! Is there anything we can't miniaturize??? :)
Nice video , men this rig is awesome . With you i discovered RC , then a buy one and now im in rc for 5 year now , and have 5 RC , and now im making RC video too . Really Nice job well done !!
Really technical today Alex, I know its too much for most viewers - but this video will help those folks who are needing it - as well as all of my tech friends, like you!!
You know its getting cold when someone from Canada says its cold lol. A thumb function would be fairly easy to add since it only would need one more valve on the hydraulic block, and a 9th channel on the radio. Maybe move a the receiver under the operator's seat in the cab would free up enough space on the other side for the extra function on the hydro block. With a metal arm, and a skilled welder buddy it would be easy to add all of the mounts and pivots for the cylinder and the thumb.
Whats up Medic.... That 4200 sounds as it should. Maybe a little louder than normal. Just looks that the hydraulics are running a little to fast. I suggest that it gets turned down a tad.... Don't want to blow out the seals in the cylinders....
Man this 4200 is on the affordable spectrum of the hobby considering the guys over in Europe and their 18k 9 valve Hidromeks. One of them even has a little smoker for the exhaust pipe. Of course you could be a bit more modest and pick up a Premacon LH960 SME for a cool 16k.
There's thumbs you can get just mounts up solid too the bucket an boom then you pin it in different positions an you roll the bucket up against the thumb too hold on too thing .
Well it's not backwards depending on the operator. There is tso and sae. Cat machine standard is sae. However most machine have valves that can switch between either.
Hey Aaron. I need help with my Rc4wd loader and this video helped a bit. I think I need more pressure and I thought about working on the pressure relief valve. Should I screw the screw in or out for more pressure? Or isn’t it a good idea to mess with the pressure relief valve?
mine broke the feed line last week and cuaght on fire it's a burn ruined machine now but properly maintenance would have saved my excavator uh I'm sad thanks for the video
Hi RCSparks I have seen a lot of your videos and have enjoyed them. My question is. I am very interested in all four of rc4wd's construction vehicles but all of them say recommended for experienced r/c hobbyist only . I have no experience with r/c's. So I am really concerned about these vehicles. Are they that hard to operate?
awesome!! you know something Medic, i really like to have one of those is very cool but i think is less expensive to watch you using it jajajajaja :) very interesting machine thank you !
What ROOM are you watching RC ADVENTURES in?!

that things has some crazy detail
I run the real deal 300 komatsu everyday dude. I built a thumb attachment that is manual adjustable. works great full scale of course. awesome machine dude.

Waho is Superb that excavator.
Big thumbs up brother
That thing is badass. I run Track Hoes, aka excavators for a living. I really appreciate this video. Very neat.

here is a tip from us full scale diggers. to preserve the pistons the best way, allways park with the boom fully extended

Rc engineering is amazing
Awesome in depth look at the Hydraulic System @RCSparks Studio I had oogled these on RC4WD before and the plumbing is just absolutely crazy! Is there anything we can't miniaturize??? :)
Your living the life man!
On our full-size digger we have a stationary thumb, you could add that with out any extra electrical/hydraulic!
Hi rc sparks I am a big fan and I was wondering what is the best rock crawler in your choice
Love the vids with the heavy machines my FAV. :)
Woow.. awesome video as always, Medic.
Nice video!
Nice video , men this rig is awesome . With you i discovered RC , then a buy one and now im in rc for 5 year now , and have 5 RC , and now im making RC video too . Really Nice job well done !!

Brandon Dillensnyder medic. haven't heard that name in awhile you an oldie on here to?
Love the video man, the technical stuff is what I like!
Really technical today Alex, I know its too much for most viewers - but this video will help those folks who are needing it - as well as all of my tech friends, like you!!
That's so sick love it bro

probably better to use an electric actuator valve at the dipper end, same as full scale
really really want one of them. good informative video thanks medic
I don't even have this machine but I am watching anyways bc I love ur videos! Keep it up!
Very cool Video and great Tutorial 👍👍
What a cool Video Aaron ;0)) Nice!

Thanks for sharing 👍👍
You are super cool
Oh man this is awesome! ! not a bad way to spend $3k !!!
dude that thing is so awesome. was always wondering how the system was setup. it really is just like the real thing
Whats up Medic.... That 4200 sounds as it should. Maybe a little louder than normal. Just looks that the hydraulics are running a little to fast. I suggest that it gets turned down a tad.... Don't want to blow out the seals in the cylinders....
I FREAKING LOVE IT😲 ROAR❗
this is really cool
That was really cool! I never knew that about those machines. Great video!
awesome ! very interesting to see how you get the air out of the lines !

Love your vids it's 70 over here nice weather 😁
There's thumbs you can get just mounts up solid too the bucket an boom then you pin it in different positions an you roll the bucket up against the thumb too hold on too thing .
What happens when a hydraulic cylinder is at its max? Does the fluid flow back to the reservoir?
good job
Really good video. A bit big for me plus the cost of it OMG. That's a extreme toy.
if when you store it if you put all the rams in the closed position it would help with the air bleed
"Engage brain before operating" HAHAHA, best sticker ever!!!
I was from your last video I was the first person to comment
Hello you can use the pitch control to control the pump it will be quieter .
it's all good, bro!
34inch that is big that what she said Lol 🤣🤣 keep up the good work medic
Im a little confused. How would a smaller hydraulic block be more powerful?
Pump pressure / vs size of motor. And also, I was saying that the smaller ones are MORE Expensive, not always more powerful
Well it's not backwards depending on the operator. There is tso and sae. Cat machine standard is sae. However most machine have valves that can switch between either.
Love the vids
Notification Squad
Thank you Dillan!
RCSparks Studio My Traxxas Stampedes are both broken due to full throttle carnage
wow just like a full size
Awesome glad to know more about that beast, when you make your next video with the excavator you should put your Medic mini fig in the cab it if fits.
It does not fit, my friend! Mini Medic is 1/6 scale! LARGE!
Darn, oh well I'm sure he will pop up in other vids.
Well Done 👍🏻
Very Nice!
what a loud noise
really powerful man.
i also want to know about your reeper giveaway
Hey Aaron. I need help with my Rc4wd loader and this video helped a bit. I think I need more pressure and I thought about working on the pressure relief valve. Should I screw the screw in or out for more pressure? Or isn’t it a good idea to mess with the pressure relief valve?
This thing is sweeeeeeeet
mine broke the feed line last week and cuaght on fire it's a burn ruined machine now but properly maintenance would have saved my excavator uh I'm sad thanks for the video
funny i was missing a heavy duty series😊 you also have the new rc4wd excavator? miss tath one...i fougth you had only one
and your final drives should be to the back when walking the excavator so the rollers and drive sprokets dont wear so much.
So on the full size machines, that hydraulic block is called the "Gang" valve.
nice video... thanks for the info vids
Hi RCSparks I have seen a lot of your videos and have enjoyed them. My question is. Hey medic great video very helpful will that method work on the 870k and the dozer?
awesome!! you know something Medic, i really like to have one of those is very cool but i think is less expensive to watch you using it jajajajaja :) very interesting machine thank you !
3000 grand. its worth it. what scale is it?
do you have a video of how you clean and protect your all metal excavator? Should I wash it down in some WD when I'm done? cover it in wax?
here's some excavator info. the that drives it is known as the final drive. the lower half is known as the undercarriage.
Ah i finally got my torment 4x4 brushless and running hooray
