We have a massive rail road on all the country, say thank you to the massive foreign $hi5lords that privatized it via corruption, dont worry tho, there are plans to conect the train with those roads and add more routes if I heard right
P.D: The blame is of the Corrupted Ex-Presidents of México and the owners of the companies that privatized, its not the fault of the foreign lands/citizens, please dont take my words wrong

There will be more trains around all Mexico in the next 6 years, new Presidente Claudia Sheinbaum said her administration will build 3 or 4 línea of high speed trains… 🚆

no massive project EVER, ANYWHERE goes without the same discouraging rhetoric . The people who argue the smaller negative aspects are the same people who complain that so little is being done to help boost the peoples advantages . you simply cant win . As a permanent resident of Mexico, I see how the country needs to build its infrastructure to help its people. I think this project is one hell of a shot in the arm to get things accomplished. I applaud. AMLO and his vision on this project

As a resident of Cancun for the last 15 years I am surprised that this generally informative video makes no mention of the huge environmental protection initiatives associated with Tren Maya such as the massive Jaguar Environment Park near Tulum, or the batttle of the goverment against the US giant Vulcan that is destroying the Playa del carmen environment. The gov has just declared the area enivornmentally protected. see also report attached

Gracias y saludos.

“Imagine: they took away material to build highways in the United States, creating an ecological catastrophe and we are going to present an international complaint,” stated AMLO in his press conference from the National Palace, adding that the environmental damage has already affected the region’s famous cenotes and underground rivers. AMLO said he will take the case to national and international courts.
Vulcan is the largest construction materials producer in the United States. It has operations overseas, including underwater quarrying operations at its Sac-Tun site in Quintana Roo. Once excavated, the limestone is shipped to the US from a purpose-built port. Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Vulcan Materials has been operating on Mexico’s Mayan Riviera since 1986, when it bought more than 4,000 hectares of coastal rainforest just 10 kilometers south of Playa del Carmen.

All the negative commentaries come from the opposition to the government in power at the moment, In reality, this is most likely the most carefully ever produced project when it comes to public development, this out of the new administration being out of a relatively brand new party created by a person. Who is only comparable to a Bernie Sanders who meets
Roosevelt and then makes a connection with Gandhi he is all about non corruption. Love fairness to the exploited etcetera. Thus, this project contemplated all the.
Necessary paths for animals to cross safely, all the necessary development for communities. Asked for permission to all communities in its path. Even though it already had the leeway because of previous train rails and electrical high tension paths, the opposition, who has ALL of the media in its power, has made it so that this looks like an "ecoside", but in reality, all of the people they send to portray themselves as environmentalists are nothing but people who have no jobs because the government no longer gives money to the media to develop. Cheap dramas or Low quality theater productions, the government now does what it's supposed to do in the right way there's about 5 more mega projects either already fulfilled or about to be without contacting external debt, this government increased minimum wage by alot, made pensions for the elderly universal, not party related, made low income students scholarship universal, not pay related, the handicapped get help, etc, the best government in centuries

So China is building this high speed rail for Mexico for just $20 billions?????? Here in CALIFORNIA, we already spent over $15 billions on our CA High Speed Rail, and it's still looks nothing like a rail line

When do they mention China? and its not high speed rail, just 100 m/h.... This project is being founded on the majority with public budget, and it did not cost 20bn, it will cost almost half... your corrupt bureaucracy and other things are killing your state.... AMLO got rid of it as president of Mexico.. 70% of rating for 5 years straight
