Cold start up of a 1949 Caterpillar D7 bulldozer

Kaltstart einer 74 Jahre alten restaurierten Caterpillar D7 Planierraupe, (Baujahr 1949 - ursprünglich eine Seilmaschine, hier jedoch mit nachgerüstetem hydraulischem Schild und Aufreisser) im Jahre 2023 anlässlich des Tages der offenen Tür bei der Fa. Zöchling Hainfeld. Der Dieselmoter der Raupe, wird mittels kleinem Hilfs-Benzinmotor (Ponymotor) gestartet.
Cold start up of a restored 74 year old Caterpillar D7 tractor in 2023 at open days of Austrian earthmoving contractor Zöchling Hainfeld. This tractor had a cable controlled blade first, but was converted into a hydraulic operated dozer many years ago. The main diesel engine is started by a small gasoline powered pony motor.

That is a turbocharged 17a which they made from 1959 to 1961. I had one.
