- Are your garden strawberries too small, or tomatoes cracking before they're ripe? In this special ode to Ralph Snodsmith's WOR radio program of the same name, we harvested your gardening questions for guest experts Elizabeth Buck and Gary Pilarchik. We're rooting for you!

Because of the pandemic, our show is currently pre-recorded, so the #SciFri team have not able to take our audience's calls. We miss having listeners' voices on our radio program. We still want to hear from folks on our VoxPop app, but we're also experimenting with something new-we’re inviting our listeners to join us live for select recordings for #ScienceFriday on the radio!
The event was recorded on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. The segment airs on the radio and our podcast on Friday, July 2, 2021.
If you'd like to join future live Zoom call-ins to get your questions on the air with us, sign up for updates at sciencefriday.com/livestream. - Věda a technologie
Bless you for mentioning Ralph. It’s 2024 Sunday morning and for some reason I really miss him today. I am also in NY, Westchester County and listened and recorded several episodes to later listen to. I had no idea I’d be starting my search here on CZcams looking for anything Ralph related.
This is very interesting!
Ralph !!!!
Does an audio archive of Ralph's show anywhere?
Thanks for sharing this video
Cilantro flowers are great pollinators and for seed 👍
Sound is a little bit low
Awesome talk will there be a part 2? I think a fire would send fertilizer in the air like a dry foliar feed
I have a gardening question. I gave up a good portion of my vegetable garden to grow only sunflowers. I added some compost and planted a variety of sunflower seeds. Almost two months later I have only four sunflowers growing. What happened and how can I ensure greater success next time?
wonder to hear from Gary Pilarchik
Is the cuttlefish still up there?
Wrap tomato’s in panty hose
Too bad it has to be on NPR.
