I`m a Truck driver and have done loads of deliveries in West Wittering for the local builder`s merchants.It`s a lovely area and very,very affluent.There`s quite a few celebs around there and I always keep an eye out.I think I spotted Kate Winslet on the school run in an old banger of a car;probably trying to keep a low profile.

I used to work for his father as a kid they really looked alike his father had a private war museum and I lived about 200 metres away so I ended up working there at weekends during the early 80s. The guy was ok but boy were he and his wife mean as hell, I got paid £5 for 8 hours which translates as 62.5 pence per hour which even back then was derisory I stayed for quite a long time because the work was interesting (I love military history) but aged 16 I left when I realised I could get £7 for 4 hours work as a kitchen porter washing dishes at the local pub.

Notice that his cars are left hand drive ! But his net worth? Much more than that vid portrays. The Cars alone are worth Millions. And of course there is the upkeep of them. If my 2012 Honda Civic costs £280 to service, how much does his cars cost?
I realise he lost his Son. And what can you say about that? But! My Partner lost her Daughter at the age of 8. Never a day goes by without she does not mention her. So! There are many people who have had their loss. But life is life. Anyone who says that money doesn’t help is in cloud cuckoo land. My partner does not have loads of money to help her in her loss. It becomes a daily ordeal when she wakes up in the Morning. And she lost her Daughter 36 years ago.
But! I like Nicholas Lyndhurst. He bought us so many laughs on Fools and Horses. And I’m glad he made his wealth.he deserves it.

As I understand net worth, it means what you are worth after all your liabilities. So if you have say a house that is worth £1m but have a mortgage for 800k, your net worth is 200k. He may have a fantastic home and some really lovely cars, but if they are on finance, they would deduct from his net worth. Not trying to diss the guy because I admire him and think he's a really talented guy and deserves all that he has achieved, I'm simply trying to explain why his net worth "may" be lower than we all think
