Since I did not know about this series, I thank you for the trailer's review. I hope it proves better than most things I have seen about history recently. I agree that when people think about the American Revolution, they do think about Washington. But there are very few depictions of Washington in television or movies. I am a great admirer of Washington, but he did not have the compelling personality a dramatization needs. He was not known for his wit or for being flamboyant. He was the indispensable man. He was an ambitious man, but not consumed with power. He knew how to lead men, but most importantly when to leave. This does not make for exciting viewing, unfortunately. And unfortunately, something that few people vote for. Since you have a channel about Napoleon, I do have a question for you. I once heard that a journalist at the end of Napoleon's life asked him what the biggest misconception his followers had about him? Napoleon answered that they thought he would be another Washington. Have you heard about this?

where is this 18th century feeling, which Kubrick did so well catch with Barry Lindon? Franklin, ok he cannot wear a hat, which was paramount to wear in the 18th century but as main actor he just cannot do it, even in a movie playing in the 18th century.
