The ar7 yes. The 5.7x28 was NOT designed for rifles. It was designed for handguns and has been adopted into smg’s and some guys do builds with it in ar15’s now.

No he was talking out his ass the ar7 isn't a military designation and the fn 5.7 was specifically made to be a handgun round and also is NOT armor piercing
What I learned from this video is... there are individuals that work behind the gun counter that actually know what is going on!!! Kudos to that guy!!
He knew about the ar7… but the 5.7x28 was not designed for rifles. It was a round designed for handguns and has made its way into smg’s and some guys do ar15 builds in it. P90 or ps90 both fire 5.7 and are smg’s. The fn 5.7 everybody knows and its a handgun. Ruger came out a couple years back with a semi auto 5.7 handgun as well.

Great vid! You were missing the close targets because of “height over bore”. The optic is higher than the barrel, so when the optic is zeroed for 50+ yards, up close your actual impact is going to be under your point of aim with the optic. Shooting paper will demonstrate it. CZcams it for a better explanation. It’s good to know.

Yeah it is very interesting. It seems the only weapons and calibers he is aware of is shotguns and .223. Everything else is weirdly new to him.

Hey flair, just wanted to give you a quick tip with that five Seven mag, you can actually just press the rounds down from the top like an AR mag instead of the painful press and slide method
That was awesome for both people to answer your call and I don't think you need a sight I love the plain old Iron sights I would love to see you guys do a hunting challenge for 24 hours or try to hunt small game or a deer with it amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one

You're shooting low because you're aiming at a target thats like 10 yards from you with a 3x thats probably sighted in for 50 meters. The sight sits higher than the barrel does (Height over bore) meaning you have to aim lower on the sight to bring your barrel up higher. If the sight is a circle with a line on each side of it aim at the bottom of the circle if youre closer than 25 yards.

The .22 is a newer gun I’m not 100% sure how old it actually is. But in wwii the Germans issued what was called a drilling combination gun. There a bunch of different combinations but the most common combination is a 16guage double barrel shotgun and a 7x57 rifle round that sat just under the double barrel 16’s.
With the amount of land and resources that you guys have, I'm surprised that you don't already have a 25, 50, and 100 yard range with a bench and overhang to sight in. .

It amazes me how much time you spend around guns but how you know so little lol 10mm auto was the answer to the original Miami-Dade shootout, it's pretty strong (loaded to old FBI specs and modern hunting/self defense loads) and eventually lead to the .40 S&W. Nowadays it's an option for concealed carry, and for some folk, it's a hunting gun/woods carry. Really interesting caliber. Recommend checking it out.

That 5.7x28mm is a SWEEEETT round. It's kinda like a .223. with the bottom half of its shell cut off and a lighter-weight bullet/lead. The top half of a .223 shell is a bit smaller than the bottom half. And the bullets (leads) are just about the same diameter, but the 5.7 lead is shorter, like half as long as the .223. And that 5.7 is like at least 3 -17HMR rounds put together. It's a sweet round when shot from a pistol, and even sweeter shot from a rifle. And yes, it will work on a Coyote. lol.

My dad has one of those AR-7's. It's a tack-driver! And they have 25 round banana mags👍. The barrel is aluminum with a steel core. Be careful, it can get hot pretty quick! You can even get a collapsing stock and ventilated heat shield for the barrel.
That was fun but Banjo definitely won the beer can contest. It wasn’t even close. He was so much faster smoother and only missed once

5.7x28mm in a pistol is the same as a 22mag in a rifle. For the 17cal it's 17wsm in rimfire and 17 hornet in center-fire that your thinking about

Flair, you gotta get you a 10mil....its like a longer version of the 40s&w but it has similar ballistics and knockdown power as a 357mag....I got a glock 20 and I make some spicy 200gr hardcast bear loads....and you get 15rd capacity instead of 6rds with the 357.
Video idea: Repair all your guns that don't work and test fire them, if they can't be fixed scrap em.

That little .22 is the same gun James Bond used in "From Russia With Love" I've had one for years, and it's super accurate.

@Flair, bro maybe you should get MARINE, NAVY, ARMY, AIR FORCE, SPECIAL FORCES pews and pit them against eachother in all sorts of tests. Im sure Lunkers and Lojo and the guy that gave you the gun vault door, could help set you up and do a shooting as a sniper etc and maybe a obstacle course and at the end you have to shoot some targets. Idk sounds like it could be a good video.

The AR 7 was designed during the Vietnam war as a lightweight alternative for pilots instead of just a sidearm for survival mainly for small game and not self defense, their sidearm would be used for self defense.
Cool to see the AR-7. Not meant to be a fighting implement, just for survival in a downed aircraft emergency. It's a compact, lightweight dinner getter. God bless boys
