Well Wooly, another great video. I have the Curly Birch Woodsman with matching firesteel which I've used on a few Ray Mears courses and I love it. I have recently been looking at the Bog Oak handled version (I'm a Donegal man so literally going back to my routes). It's amazing to see the Bushcraft scene thriving Ireland as it was pretty none existent when I was growing up there, it was just me and a couple of mates out in the woods enjoying all things outdoors. I'm in the process of moving back to Donegal soon from the UK so I will be out Bushcrafting when time allows, all the best, Slainte, Seamus

That is a nice knife. A really nice knife. everything about it is nice. the sheath is nice, the steel is nice, the handle is nice and the sheath is nice. Really Really nice. (sorry couldn't help myself, but you said really and nice like 50 times each...)

I got the Lars Fält one from Casstrom a couple of years ago and it's gorgeous. Very similar look.

A truly magnificent knife that would only be improved by ordering a 3mm version from the man himself. Perfect length of blade and perfect grind but I just can’t get on with 4mm blades. I own the bog oak version and it is stunning in its simplicity.

It would be nice, if it was 3mm thick blade, as they used to make them. Now they went for what the market trend is, and make them way thicker and way harder,, than what a proper scandi woods knife should be.
Morakniv, Condor.Hultafors,, Mariini,Brisa,LT Wright, all those who are considered they make the best bushcraft knives, all keep them at 3mm for a reason. Scandi sucks on thick blades, it already is the worst slicer, but making it 4mm or thicker, it doesn't just kill te slicing abilites, it sucks in any task, even itf it's feathersticking, to notching or cutting an apple or meat... Marketing those days, and the very little knowledge on knives, from all tose so called expert, Yooutuers, are the reason of this downhill, on knife designs. Instead of going up, we go down...and that's facts, not an opinions.
