HE DID IT!! HE FINALLY DID IT!!!! This is one of the coldest albums in history (I'm talking Soldier Field in January cold. Lol) and underrated IMO. Next stop is "Overdose" on this same album! Thank you so much for covering this! This album is a piece of hip hop (and my family) history being from Chicago. Thanks again. This one got me smiling ear to ear.

you asked for more Twista... this album is where you need to start. First he blacked out on several tracks on this project, "Overdose" as others have stated is one of them. This is one of those albums that I remember exactly where I was when I heard it for the first time, it was at Sam Goody when they put the new releases on the listening station in the mall. I couldn't believe the flow, delivery and clarity he brought being a fast rapper, along with the production.. sheesh. This album will always be in my top 10 and I'm glad that Twista is getting his recognition.

Twista's "Mobster's Anthem" off of the same album is my favorite Twista song, he takes a sample from Dre's "Nothin but a G thing" and absolutely crushes it.

This is a 🔥 song. The "Young Buck" he's thinking of is in G-unit. This Young Buck( commonly known as "Buk") is in the group you're listening to is Psycho drama. The other 2 members are Psyde FX(pronounced side effects) and New Sense( pronounced nuisance). There's a different version of this song on Cam'ron's "🟣 haze(04)" album with the same title. The hook is the same but both of their verses are different. Great reaction video 👍! Shout out to the person that suggested it!

Twista one of the best to do it from the Mid-West, There was a strong Mid-West movement in the 90's that doesn't really get the credit it deserves. MC Breed was dropping heat from Flint, he was a legend (RIP), His "The New Breed" album is a classic! (Check out "Gotta Get Mine" (feat. 2 Pac), and "Just Another Clip"), you can't speak on Flint, Michigan hip-hop without mentioning Top Authority, check out "93 (Things Ain't How They Should Be)", also an underground group from CLE that dropped some heat during that time are Brothers for the Struggle, they dropped a nice album "Frantic in the Inner City Ghetto" which was an underground classic, check out "Miss Right" off of that one!
The Legendary Traxster is one of the best producers. Hes from Chicago and came before Kanye so i guarantee he influenced him. He produced this song and basically the whole Chicago sound.

A little history Twista was so raw he was about to sign with Rocafella records Dame Dash wanted him but the hater Jay Z didn't Jay did not wanted to compete with the likes of Twista.Jay Z wouldn't able to hang with Twista and at that time Twista was hot at the time, he was spotted wearing the Rocafella chain at one point. Check out the song We are the champion feat Kanye, Cam'ron, Beanie Seigel, and Twista.

Young Buck from G-Unit is pretty cold & I like him as an artist but this guy on this song is a Chicago native who is a member of Psychodrama. Check out a song by PsychoDrama titled "Been Done Some Shit" from the Eightball 3 disc CD "LOST". I used to own that CD & they advertised a lot of artists signed to Suavehouse Records. Both Eightball & MJG are dope too. Check out another song by Psychodrama featuring Eightball titled "Drama in my Life". That's another good song too.
