- The Gen 2 Adamas fixed blade in CPM-CruWear® steel has a different approach than the previous model. The spine serrations are gone and in my opinion this is a good thngs especially if you are looking to do bushcraft with it. I have also purchased some aftermarket scales from tpgrips to give it a bit of personalization. Veff serrations? Not as of yet but it’s never off the table. Please do enjoy and drop my a like, share and subscribe.
Thank you for showing my scales. Someone from the Philippines emailed me about the scales after watching your video. I never knew it existed until this morning. I really appreciate it. If you need another set let me know and I will take care of you. If anyone else here is interested, it is best to contact me through the gmail account that is shown here. eBay sells out pretty fast and you might not see them. Thank you. Tony
My pleasure Tony. I buy what I like and want to share it with others. People will never know unless we share our knowledge. 👍🏼
Tony what is the email to contact you for the scales.

I've looked at this knife many times in the past, And probably watched the Benchmade video (digging in the parking lot) 10 times. I need to revisit this piece, Thanks for sharing
Happy to help
" I think they're dutch"
😂 You are correct.
That knife looks so much better with those scales...beautiful
Keep the good video's coming
Thank you for your service!
Thank you so very much. Greatly appreciated
Nice, Bro!
thanks
When did they do a version with veff serrations
This is something that I sent to Mr. Veff directly. He is my go to for customization
How do we use the malice clips for the sheath? I am unsure how to use them
Ok, so you can weave them into a molle system ie a backpack, plate carrier or battle belt and it can also be used as a belt loop to wear on your belt. Hope this helps. I also have a Facebook page so you can talk to me there too. facebook.com/100076073023593/posts/pfbid0s7CTn2raXcTyknaYot4tnxHEn2VixGMnnuC7yeSEZzFxMuppCWH8vhcRVN7ZwkE4l/?mibextid=cr9u03
Nice review, do you have any link for the website where we can order the scales?
instagram.com/tpgrips?
i sure wish the older style sheath was still avail for this blade, i just don't think the current offering is a good choice for belt carry, if u happen to see one of the older as u have please let me know so i can buy it, i bought the blade on sale today for $160(aafes) going to look for those scales
Yeah, the sheath is not so good for belt carry. Not everyone can realistically use scout carry especially in places like California. I’ll probably get an aftermarket for it.
@@haveaknifeday im going to contact benchmade and see if that older sheath is still available in inventory, does it have any numbers/markings on it to reference?
I am currently out and about doing business. But not necessarily off the top of my head.
You know what might work? A kydex adaptor to mount to a tek-lok so as to orient it for belt carry.
Strange question... but here it is..
Would the fixed blade cruwear make a good throwing knife
That’s a good question that I do not have experience in.
@@haveaknifeday next question is would their warranty cover that?
So, I took the initiative and asked them and this is what they said, “I would not consider any of our knives to be throwing knives, our warranty will cover defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage from misuse/abuse or wear and tear.”
@@haveaknifeday I mean I wouldn't either but I figure such a good quality steel and being a soild piece of steel.. i would think it would hold up good but maybe it would be too thin...
Wonder if benchmade has ever thought about making a throwing knife
Furthermore ty for your time
It probably would. The last time I threw a knife was when I was a kid. Flew back and stuck me in my bare foot 🦶 🤣 it was in the 80’s and the knife was a Chinatown special.
I don't know why they sell that knife with no scales.
I completely understand what you mean. I think they expect people to use paracord and wrap it themselves. But that is why I found the guy that does the scales. Wouldn’t kill them to make factory scales.
@@haveaknifeday knife costs way to much for that crap
It’s like not including floor mats in the Porsche because of cost.
