It would be an afternoon to remember for the visitors who despite playing most of the second half with 10 men they came from 1-0 down to win 2-1 thanks to a double from the magnificent Zander Sutherland and numerous top class saves from Kevin Main as they became the first Highland League club to win a Scottish cup tie away to an SFL side since Deveronvale beating Albion Rovers in 1995. It was Buckie Thistle first Scottish Cup win on SFL soil since winning away to Montrose in 1956.
