Shamanic Journey and How to Do It Correctly

- Shamanic Journey has ritualistic elements and needs to be done correctly. This post explains important and little known nuances about how to do Shamanic Journeying correctly. Shamanic Journey is a form of inner exploration and has been an integral part of many indigenous shamanic wisdom traditions, in far corners of the world, and used as a spiritual and healing practice for centuries.
Fortunately, the shamanic journeying has been gaining its much-deserved respect and popularity, in recent years. In the past, Shamanic Journeys were practiced under the guidance of a shamanic elder, and based on a set of well-defined indigenous ceremonial rituals. Unfortunately today, many who practice shamanic journeying don’t have access to shamanic elders, and are not as familiar with these ceremonial rituals. In that sense, many who do shamanic journeying today practice that as a form of interactive mediation, with limited understanding of its deep ritualistic foundation.
The goal of this presentation is raise your awareness about commonly overlooked technical nuances of shamanic journeys, and what you should do or avoid doing when journeying. This helps you develop a deeper understanding of proper practice of shamanic journeying.
