I fished hawk at westwood lakes and caught just under 200LB of just barbel on meat and hemp, all on just a topkit swapping from each margin after each fish. Meat is banned there now but a nice meaty fishy paste works just as well as an alternative. Any meaty or fishy groundbait with a tin of oily fish mashed into it. Mackerel, sardines or tuna work well.
Nice one Ben... £49.99 on angling direct but out of stock and seems like there’s little stock around? When you do these videos (which are great), can you do a bit on the rigs you use and bait too (maybe how you mix paste etc?) cheers mate keep them coming 👍

with the 30 rating elastic in the m1 i can see that being usefull down edge for carp in match at last hour when you want fish in quickly.
