I used to manage a store that sold lottery tickets. Every year just after taxes came back there were 4-5 people that would come in and buy entire books of scratchers. Not a single one of them made more than they spent. They would buy a book for $600 and leave. Come back the next day with their $400 in winners and buy more. Come back the next day with $250 in winners. The next day with $125 in winners. On the last day they were counting out pennies to buy one last $1 scratcher convinced this is the "big" winner.
Very true it really is sort of a sneaky scam where the ones who know when to go buy, they win . Remember too that the lottery place needs losers ,that is how they make their profit.

I never buy the high tickets I remember and they first came out along time ago before they were outlawed. First time I watched a woman going in buy 10 tickets right by the Walmart gas station. She scratched off $1000 worth of tickets right in front of me, and lost every single one in a row . I was amazed I couldn’t believe what I was seeing me and my friend bought the very next ticket and won $100 but the streak of losing tickets was out of control.
Usually when you see a pattern of winners that goes for the whole book. That's how the Run works when they print them up. When I noticed you had patterns of 500 and 100, you would hit about 1,800 and that whole book giving you a profit of $300

I’ve done a lot of whole “rolls” or “books” whichever you call them. Best return was doing groups of 3 at 10 different locations. Books are made to make money, if you can get lucky and get multiple high 100-500’s you can come out ahead. In general you will not get ahead. I’ve only hit $1000 once and taxes taxes part of that. Florida also has second chances and never hit one of those.

Holy shit, I didn't think $50 scratch tickets existed, I've only ever seen them go as high as $30 along the east coast states. You spent $1500 for this pack and won $2100 for a profit of $600, nice job. I once got $5000 on a $20 ticket and it was also the first scratch number like when you got the 50x in this game. For me, it was 5x for a $1000 prize. Maybe next year I will begin saving up money from my job and going to locations asking to buy full packs and see what I end up getting.
The result you saw here was very rare. I’ve done over 100 books and most of the time you lose half your money. It’s your money so play how you see fit but just a heads up.
