You haven’t lived until you’ve drove one of these land yachts on 13” bias ply 5.20’s and hydraulics. It’s a completely different experience the way they dip and slide down the road. True head turners. Beautiful ride!
The Lowrider is where my love for cars started. It eventually evolved into the resto-mod world but the Lowrider will always have a soft spot in my heart. Nothing like a Cali Low Low…unmatched.
So.. You used to stand on the corner with your friends playing "That's My Car", huh? Yeah.. I ain't maad at ya!
You don't have to like lowriders to appreciate their culture and the amount of detail these guys put into their cars. I will argue that some of the very best, most difficult to execute paint jobs have been laid on the skin of a lowrider. Props to him for having a true love and passion for the machine.
You forgot to mention that many of those paint jobs are done in "less than ideal" circumstances

I bet that the chrome alone on this car is around 5 digits. Not just all the trim but the suspension is chromed. The hydraulic pumps and all the plumbing is chromed. He really went all out.
About to buy a 59 hard top. Can’t wait to start the build. You truly have a beautiful ride. Love everything about it.

That's so cool seeing a car like that bouncing up and down on its own weight like that. That thing must have some serious power to make it bounce so effortlessly like it weighs nothing especially since it's an old car that is made of that solid heavy metal.
It's wrapped reinforced frame plays a big part..it makes the car stronger to take the pressure of tippin on the freeway or gas hopping.
That's awesome, I remember seeing them in magazines and videos back in the 90s , the truck's where able to stand on the back wheels it was crazy, and still going today, very nice car 👍🏽👍🏻

Lowriders are so much fun man. You can see it on his face his really enjoying himself. I grew up around lowriders and I owned a couple. I was only 16 yrs old when I had my first juiced 1983 coupe deville. Not alotta grown men can think back in their lives and say, “son I was out hittin switches when I was your age” most kids nowadays are just gamers 😂

I think what makes a good car is one that despite whatever genre its in be it JDM, Restomod, Rat Rod, lowrider, etc, it garners the respect of all car people because people always recognize love and attention to detail and craftsmanship.
This is one of those cars, it has it all in spades.
