Hello from Finland! I have ford 2000 - 68 model. Both of my grandfathers owned it before me (first my moms father and after him my dads father) Love the tractor, never ever going to sell it to anyone.

Well I have never seen anyone take so long to set up his plough? The best way is to do that on your concrete yard, once you have your 3-point linkage
fitted you lift the plough to an 1" of the floor, & make sure that both shears are at the same height. Also make sure that leading edge is upright at 90%
to the floor. You can set your draft once you start ploughing. A very nice little tractor though, hope this helps for the future. Have a nice day.

My grandad had a 2600 with a 4610 engine so it was twice the power it should be but then sold it to a neighbour farmer who has just left it to rot and I went to look at it the other day and it was scary to see how bad it was and my dad said it's too far gone but I just can't agree nothing is impossible

It sounded good, but these old tractors rot really quick. It`s a difficult decision but will cost a lot of time and money to restore, and will probably not be worth the value if you tried to sell. Tough one matey.

@@IncredibleFordTractors I spent a lot of time thinking about it and realistically the only thing you could save from it would be the front and rear axle because engine is seized the gearbox is probably full of water and the tin is shot so by the time you did restore it nothing would be original even though the owner wants 1000 for it but it's only worth it's scrap value of about 250 realistically

Very nice 2000, almost sounds like my 3055. Do you have Ford 3055 model tractors in the UK?
