We down 3-0 last year and they asked Tatum if he was confident that they would win the next game and he was lol and we did win the next 3 games! Only lost because Tatum was hurt pressure was too much for Brown and Smart alone. Go 🍀🍀
Tatum dropping the ball once they tied up the series and the oressure was back on 100% was expected by me. I heavily question him beinf hurt that game.
My only advice to Tatum would be for him to get himself going with some free throws in the beginning of the game. Or a layup or two. And to have a self awareness on how efficient that his shooting is going on each particular night. If he's being fairly efficient, then he can take some of the more difficult shots.

Okay, call me crazy, but I was just thinking about how the scoring burden isn’t as heavy on JT as it was last season. Apart from JT and JB, idk who else could take over a game as dynamically as those two. This year, however, literally anybody could go crazy in scoring on any given night, thus Tatum no longer needing to necessarily take the pressure on as being a high scorer. ALSO, he kind of has more freedom to significantly impact the offense in other ways, hence his rebounding and assists averages both being higher. So like…I think a majority of the scrutiny is coming from us being used to seeing him playing this type of basketball. But honestly, given what I previously stated, he doesn’t have to play the same kind of basketball because his offensive scoring load has been made lighter now with the addition of Jrue and Tingus Pingus AND not to mention to mention D White WHO is going crazy this season, especially as a defender. So like…apart from his shooting, which JT already agrees he needs to work on, I think he is doing WONDERFUL. 🤷🏾♀️ Is it reasonable to think that?

Luka is shooting well and playing poorly. That dude is a liability out there 60% of the time. Tatum drove by Luka 16 times and drove passed the defense 29 times. He is tearing them apart. Not to mention on defense he's stealing the ball from Kyrie and Luka on the ball and in passing lanes. As well as getting beast rebounds and shutting down the lob threat completely.
Luka is literally killing his team out there outside of trick shots and passes.
His defense is the worst I've ever seen, he's slow in transition and had 8 Turnovers for 16 pts on the other end. He is playing absolutely horrible and everyone is ignoring it.
Focus on them rebounds and defense my boy, Assists and leadership matters!!! Get the chip fuck the POINTS you have a team that can score do the dirty work do whatever to get the chip Tatum!!!!
All he has to do is take the mid range shot. It's easier than launching 3's or forcing layups around multiple defenders. Why wouldn't he focus on playing better if it's as simple as taking better shots?
Of all the sports fans I've seen, I don't think any fandom sounds softer than Tatum stans. This dude could go 9 for 20 and y'all would be defending his play.
Tatum has been doing good makong the right plays, but with porzingis potentially out hes gonna need to shoot a lot better from here on out.

Tatum is a great player. He is smart and unselfish. Jayson also gave Joe Mazulla his due credit saying he is an excellent coach
Just look at Jrue who's also a max kind of player. If you need him to score or make plays he can. If you need him to screen, block, defend....etc. Jrue already hv games with low stats but with super high +/-. So players should strive to be like that. The problem is whether the NBA contract in most teams are incentivizing team & self-less play on both ends.
