What you refer to as "dubby ambient stuff" is a remarkable aesthetic treasure. So sorry I am late to this party. But it lives!!! OH MY does it ever! So, guess i am fashionably late, as they say in NO. This mix represents a growing focus on production. The ability to generate an increasing aesthetic tension between the intensity of what you as a listener are intended to hear by the artist and what is deeper, more reserved. This tension generates an artistic effect that is simply breathtaking. There are two things certain in life: Phelian is an artistic visionary and a musical genius. Phelianomenal . . .

A month later I can report that this " dubby ambient stuff" is tremendous listening and truly illustrates the depth of the vision and the genius of Phelian. It is truly like the sketch book of Michelangelo, Manet, Bach, Giacometti, Rodin, or the great artists ever and this mix will be played and replayed for many, many years to come . . . So damn exciting . . .
