I find Boisse absolutely amazing , its smell is simply gorgeous. Being a close-contact kind of fragrance, I would say a persistence of 5-6 hours is more than enough if you're using it for dates. The idea is to get your partner to come closer to you.
The EDP is more suitable for work/office environment or business meetings when projection is more important. it all comes down to the purpose you need the fragrance for. I tried them all at the store, looking for the one ideal for dates, and Boisse took the cup!
I bought the EDP yesterday . Today i got so many compliments. Lasted about 11-12 hours on me . The dry down is amazing . Definitely recommend it . I owned the Eros EDP before and the Givenchy is much better .

Recently purchased both of these and have been wearing them quite a bit. I agree that the edp lasts longer, but I like them both equally so far. Different from each other with a common thread of iris. Good stuff.
I own the entire line.. Its my favorite line. I personally believe that owning all of them is warranted. I use EDP (Night), EDP Boisee (Day) on cooler days, and Gentleman Cologne (Day) and EDT (Night) during the warmer days. So, I personally believe that owning all 4 covers you year round. #4forLife lol..
Which one smells the sweetest?
@@jjdd4307 Gentleman EDP Boisee as the name implies is more smoky woody. The standard EDP is such a nice blend of sweet, woody, powdery. So, out of the 2, EDP is the sweetest, but definitely not sickly sweet.

@@littleamhaz93 Givenchy Gentleman Cologne. The iris and woody base works really well even colder days. Maybe not freezing temperatures, but in the 30's and 40's, totally good.
One of my favorites.
First sampled this at a department store. Two sprays on my forearm and went about my day.
This thing was radiating off my skin like crazy. People around me were reacting positively.
Don't care what ill-informed fragrance snobs say. This is a masculine scent.
Even after a shower the scent had awoken and was radiating.
Givenchy Gentleman EDP, Dior Home Intense EDP and Amouage Interlude Black Iris are my favorite Iris scents hands down. Compulsory in my collection.
Did ONE spray of Gentleman EDP on my forearm after a shower today.
Almost six hours later and I'm still getting beautiful whiffs of this scent. It's going strong.
Disclaimer: If you wear Gentleman EDP in an air-conditioned room with sexy ladies in that same room. You will draw major attention.
Own both. Love both. Even though the edp seems to be a bit more distinct, and perhaps even comes across as a higher quality - it’s a much harder wear for me. There’s a reason why my boisee bottle is 100 ml and the edp a 50. Boisee is a lot more wearable. Edp becomes a bit cloying to me after a while. And even though folks are talking about boisee as an iris scent (and yes it’s there), the iris to me is not the main note and it doesn’t come across like the big iris players. Anyhow, givenchy has been putting out some bangers lately. Weird that the flankers are all better received than the original in this line - definitely not the norm

Really a big fan of the Givenchy line, even their lower priced EDT Pour Homme is really really good. I am going with the Gentlemen EDP, but will probably eventually pick the others up.

Great comparison. I recently picked up the Boise at the mall. Now I know I need to get the EDP too
I need to sample Gentleman EDP, I smelled it at the mall but need to wear it for a couple of days and see if it’s solid. Givenchy puts out solid fragrances. Givenchy Pi would be in my top 10 for life list.
I've said it before, I love them both but there's something about the boisee that bumps it up above the EDP.
The performance for both on my skin is 8-10 hours but on clothes the smells seems to last until I wash the shirt or hoodie.
May have to check out the Givenchy line, as I don’t have anything from it yet. I love a spicy fragrance also and seemingly always tend to lean towards woody, leather, sandalwood, patchouli etc type scents. I’ve always been a person who has been obsessed with scents and I have definitely increased my purchases since watching you and your reviews. Addictive to say the least! Great vid as always. Wore the new purchase of EDP today and love it. Need it to be a little cooler...but I enjoy iris frags at church. The Boisee will be next...I m just in love with the Givenchy gentleman and gentlemen only DNA.
I have the EDP boisse,. i came to the store to buy the EDP, but ended up buying the Boisse, my wife loved it which is rare, she usually doesn't approve on my collection lol
I have the EDP and I like to layer it with CH Men Privé. It pushes it into masculine territory, as I find it a bit too feminine for my taste.

Got a decant of the boisee and a full bottle of the edp , would prob 8 times outta 10 reach for the EDP, what a compliment monster it is ....however , the gentleman only absolute that I picked up maybe a month a ago Is heading down the homestretch a neck ahead of them both , might take a couple more wears to cement that opinion but it’s very possibly

Already having both Dior Homme and intense I'd like to try Gentleman cologne.
Regardless of weather, Gentleman Cologne smells fantastic.

Anyone else get a strong pencil shavings vibe from this line? I like it a lot, but I personally don't get a lot of crossover with Dior Homme line.
Hey Ross. I just picked up Boisee mainly because EDP prices have gone through the roof! Bro, we're talking $80 for the EDP vs $65 for Boisee. I also picked up a replacement bottle of Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDT since I had to sell my old bottle. What's cool there is that I found a gift set with a travel atomizer and body wash for $57! And last, but not least, I grabbed Zadig And Voltaire This Is Him for only $42! I've heard great things about that one, so I figured I'd trust you guys and grab it while it's cheap!
Blind bought the boisee and instant regret, but then I layered it with instant crush and it smells quite good.
they smell the same only difference is if you want a sticky vanilla at the end or a toned down sweet woody finish. if you want a scent for everything go with boisee, you can use it for everything. For night or dates edp might suite you better because the vanilla tone is strong with this one. Me personally the vanilla at the end started to annoy me after a while. suprisignly if you mix both it creates a real banger.
Tried both twice in a local store, and ended up buying the brown one. Prefer the smell- more oaky, leather, coffee-ish. The black bottle smelled like a sanitizer

I have reserve privee and edp. Just picked up edt intense. Its reminded me Bulgari black bcz that spice in opening. Its thier forever and i like it.

Depends on the weather I love both however the boisee is more for the warmer weather than the edp which aligns more with the colder weather Great work as per usual. Off topic if you had to chose between these fragrances What would be your choice and why Paisley Sky or Uncle Jumbo
My choice would be sample both because they are nothing alike

Went to Macy's today to buy cologne but i left with nothing.. since its so hard picking which one u like bcs of all that cologne being sprayed while testing. What i did was get them to spray samples on the paper and take it home. The gentleman definitely got my attention.. sweet musky scent that last almost all day on skin. Got compliments from that one spray i did. But what u think of the prada carbon?
they said carbon is similar to the popular and intoxicating dior sauvage edt if im not mistaken,, gentleman edp got my interests too the first spray ufff no no no i said but the dry down was 😍 i get a pinch of similarities on bentley intense imo..
@@jeffayson1539 for me I think prada carbon smells better than sauvage. They do have similarities but the carbon doesn't have that strong citrus/ pepper smell like sauvage which is too overpowering. Plus the carbon smells better on my skin. With sauvage, I can barely smell it once it dries down.
The best one is the cologne version but I haven’t smelled the boisee yet. The Edp is the worst to me

I own both, boisse doesn't last long on my skin which is a shame as the smell is amazing.
The EDP is just the better scent and it lasts ages which is better value for money.

I’m curious if you’ve gotten your nose on the EDT and if so, what are you thoughts? I’ve had my eye on the EDP for awhile but I just pulled the trigger on the EDT as the lady at Macy’s took my info to lmk when the new flanker arrives for me to test out. I wasn’t aware until she mentioned it and I am hearing it’s supposed to be an “INTENSE” version coming soon . 👀

@@TLTGReviews Hmmm, so I am in my mid40s and work on construction sites so I don’t really care too much about office sent or offending anyone but I will say that I do really enjoy an older gentleman Lee smell on special occasions. I already on the EDP, if you had to choose one what would it be?
I'm kinda not a fan of the gentleman EDP. I had higher hopes. I guess it solidifies the fact that I'm more of a boozy lover lol if that's a thing.
