With all the mist, does the surface around the humidifier get wet or damp?

I have read reviews on Walmart for this unit which by the way were 155 reviews and all were 5 out of 5. There are various settings for high mist or low and yes if you keep it on full blast it can get things around it damp or wet, as with any humidifier. It will be trial and error for settings, a lot of reviewers suggest and like the 'night setting' for evening. Hope this helps.
