  • Finding great accessible places for people to stay can be REALLY TRICKY...then you finally find a place but it’s in a mountainous town that has no accessible activities. This video is about a brilliant place in a Victoria, Australia that is reasonably accessible. All the makings for a really nice holiday.

nice to see you enjoying yourself. you getting stronger as I can see you push your wheelchair without any help on the ramp upward. wondering if you could move around on the grass easily too in this wheelchair.

Thanks! It wasn’t too hard on the grass but I did have a Freewheel with me, which would have made it a lot easier 💪🏼

Nice video :) Your hotel room looks pretty tight and accessibility just sounds OK, but not great at all. How did you even manage to get into the bathtub?

The room actually wasn’t that bad, you wouldn’t be able to fit an electric wheelchair in it might be too tight, but I managed fine. I was able to transfer into the edge of the bath tub and then lower myself down. Getting back out was a bit more tricky, I needed Elizabeth’s help with that one.

@@freewheelingwithelise9421 What exactly did you need help with?

Elizabeth was able to support my legs while I lifted myself out. It is hard to carry the dead weight of your legs, especially when lifting yourself out of a tricky space. I hoped you liked the video 😄
