My mom passed away 2 years ago. When she was given 90 days to live, I rushed her to LV to see Barry (she loved him). We had row 1 tickets and mom my couldnt stand up when everyone else did. Barry saw this and walked over to us and he essentially sang this song to us. To this day, I cant listen to this song without tearing up. Barry brought joy to us in a terrible time.

Saw him in concert at red rocks Colorado 45 years ago and I've never forgotten how magical it all was.
I’ve been to at least 25+ of his concerts, including one at his residency in Vegas. Have loved 💕 them all. He and his songs never grow old! 🥰🥰🥰

This is indeed a lovely song, but each are so special and equally beautiful. My personal favorite are, "This one's for you" and "Could it be magic".
Barry's songs go right to the heart and soul. His gift of story writing & telling in his songs really affect me. The songs are as good now as when they first were created. Barry Manilow and his craft, art, music stands the test of Time and beyond. I cannot tell you how happy I feel when listening and watching him, feeling a part of it, like whatever he puts out, my body, mind, spirit and soul take in receive, enjoy and then feel I must share the Love he's given me thru music, with others. It literally alters my moods. Mr. Manilow to me is pure Love and Joy. God Bless him with many more Long Healthy Happy Life years.🙏✨❤

Barry. I love you. Your songs got me thru a bad breakup in the seventies and finally after suffering a few years I met my husband and had 2 children a d a full time job so no time for me. After 29 years of marriage he left and married a young Chinese girl from China. We divorced and I moved on and after a year and a half i met someone and we would have been together 12 years in November. Well surprise to me he suddenly ended the relationship and said he just wanted to be friends and announced this news at their annual July picnic and expected me to come as a friend. I felt humiliated to see the group of couples under his new arrangement. I was embarrassed that he showed them how little I meant to him and don’t want to see them. Anyway I know that I was a good girlfriend in every way so my heart was broken as I thought I we would be spending our golden years together. Surprise again. So back to your songs which sooth me. My kids are grown and on their own and as the song goes a house is not a home when there is no one sitting there it’s just a chair. I’m very lonely and miss being a part of a family. You seem like a sweetheart so if you ever get divorced look me up. I would love you until the end. I am not Jewish and I would even serve you picked herring locks and even the fish with the eye. Love you sweetie and be well. ❤️☺️

What are we going to do when he is gone....I can not even comprehend the thought. Sadly no one now or in the future will replace him and this music. This song out of so many is my favorite because it reminds me of better times. Bravo Mr. Manilow.
