The Ausom Leopard Is The Most Fun Ive Had On A Scooter

- In this video, I review the Ausom Leopard off-road electric scooter and do some test riding around Austin, TX during Austin City Limit (ACL).
I actually haven't ridden many electric scooters other than from scooter rental services like Lime, Bird etc. so this review amounts to a pretty genuine take on a scooter from someone who doesn't have a whole lot of bias one way or the other.
I hope you guys like my AI-generated thumbnail. I told Dal-E to make the image as realistic as possible and I think it did a great job 👍

New sub !
How slow did it take to get to 30 mph? Seems like it rides as a 800 motor scooter. Tried it but only went 27mph slow acceleration, so trying a replacment soon.
Other issues you didnt mention.
Too heavy to lift around.
Always have to move so many things around to fold it down.
Clip is not easy to unclip.
Not easy to connect to charge when folded.
I didnt really test the time to 30mph but yeah it was a bit slow at the top end. time to 25 or so was pretty quick. I dont think its too heavy or difficult to fold but I havent tried other scooters. Yes, the clip is cumbersome to unclip and it blocks the charge port when folded

Thanks for sharing your points.
i recommend trying Evercross. Not that expensive but many helpful advantages in comparison
What’s the top speed? I had a wolf king GT that ripped out at 62mph but unfortunately it was stolen in Chicago.
How was it stolen?
@@sparrowhawk5673 i imagine somebody either robbed him or broke a lock
They go around 32mph iv hit 67mph on my Wolf King GT pro, Chicago = don't let anything out of your sight lol, sorry about your scooter.
it's basically Kukirin G2 Max in different colors
Yes, everyone on the planet is aware of that
Hey man you still around ?
Would you guide me building my DIY 27V Talaria battery for $$$ ?
I'll follow tutorials but would like to have someone experienced to ask..
for sure! I actually have a Calendly set up for this

@@GaiusGarage OK man.. I cleaned my bike yesterday... and it's stuck on WAIT instead of displaying READY..
Ordered a new throttle.
I see you doing troubleshooting it, maybe will need it :(.
Honestly my bike pump is more useful, why didn't they take the budget from that pump and put it into the charger.
that's a great point.. Ill take an 4A charger over a useless pump. You can technically use any charger rated that the same voltage but the plug for this scooter is not the most common. Id have to track it down and splice it to the charger output
You need to look into some kind of mechanism that charges it as soon as you park it in the garage. @@GaiusGarage
I want to like it but...
Seriously I'm interested. What holds you back?😏
According to their website that thing doesn't actually go 55 miles in distance unless your driving 9.32 mph the whole way on leveled ground without wind 😂😂😂.
Interesting. Yeah, you can get all sort of ridiculous range numbers under impractical conditions
It's a 20 amp hour battery. Which is pretty large for a scooter. However, they do not use high-end batteries such as Samsung LG or Panasonic. My Wolf has a 35AH battery and I've done 70 miles on a trip, but that's cruising at 18 to 20 miles an hour.
A thousand bucks for Made In China? Wow.
u think thats bad? people pay 4k on Nami, InMotion and Kaabo
i spent over 2K on an electric unicycle.... best money spent ever. does 40 mph / 80 mi range / on&off road.
1000 miles later ... zero issues and no maintainance.
china does not always equal junk. a usa product would be signifgantly higher price and likely not worth it.
@@johnnygunz2300 i spent 1k on a large Chinese electric scooter (Obarter X3) and spent €200 on fully adjustable controllers
13000km later no issues (over 8000mi) apart from a few tire changes and the wheel bearings once (which were wrecked by the 150 days of rain a year and salt water from roads in the winter)
edit: nowadays even "American" cars have most of their parts made in China either way, and nothing is truly American made either way
@@johnnygunz2300 China always equals junk. Who in their right mind would support that horrible country?
@@johnnygunz2300 What scooter did you get?
Cool, but what does your GF think about it?
