There used to be a Filipino restaurant on castor avenue that shut down, they were so goooood! We def need for filipino food in the city!
Im half filipino (Blasian) I can cook up some good soul food but my day wouldn't feel normal if I didn't cook up some filipino food. Love it!🍛😃
I am so glad you recognized this restaurant! They are the best people; the best food! They are a true blessing to the community.
New subscriber here! I've been binging past videos and just love your energy. Coming from the Bay Area, Filipino food is pretty common and I have fortunate enough to eat A LOT of Filipino food in my time. Keep up the great content!
Getting Filipino food this weekend thanks to you. Much love from the CHI.
I never had Filipino cuisine but that looks so fire. 🔥
I haven't had Filipino cuisine, either.

JL my eyes are feasting but my stomach is crying.... Definitely putting them on the must go list 😋😍
This food looked amazing! Someone please open a Filipino restaurant in Philly!!
Perla in Philly is really good!
Who else high & hungry right now?
The sweet sour sauce mainly goes with the lumpiang shanghai. What you need for the rest is soy sauce mixed with vinegar and chopped onions. Tocino will go with a plain vinegar. Try mixing shrimp paste on the rice with crushed tomatoes. Do this and you will cry your heart out.
Makes me miss my grandmas Filipino cookin. Delish! Glad you enjoyed the food. I will be paying them a visit
This has to be by far one of my favorite episode!! Everything looked good and I can tell you really enjoyed it all!! Keep it up man!! Appreciate the 🇵🇭💛🇵🇭💛 !!!

Omg I looooove Philippino food...I could really eat that whole tray in a day😊😊😊
This made me so happy. Our food is still not known the way other Pacific asian countries are despite that we are the second biggest community in America.
JL you gotta come to Queens or Jersey City and try our Flip food out here!

Take a 2 1/2 hour trip down to North Bethesda, Maryland (near DC) and go to Kuya Ja Lechon Belly. Best Filipino food you'll ever have. I will definitely check this place out.
Oh man wish I knew about this just was in DC two weeks ago! Gonna keep it in mind
Are you kidding me... omgoodness I lived in Maryland for 5yrs and only found this one little small Philippino marke in Laurel right next to the Amish market, they sold cook Philippino food every once in a while.
@@MsPhillyG Kuya Ja opened up in 2018. There are actually a few Filipino restaurants in Suburban Maryland and Northern VA. There is one in DC called Bad Saint, that is considered one of the best Filipino restaurants in the country. But for me...Kuya Ja is the best.
Fabulous,now that's a Mother's Day feast,Thank you from Memphis
It's not fair: Mark Wiens is eating like a beast/industry grade shredder and at the same time stays slim like an undernourished chapel mouse. This guy is struggling after a few bites and doesn't look undernourished, at all. Btw his wife is beautiful. I would like to know her sister if she has one and if she is available.
Hold up. Wow. I have got to put this place on top of my must try list like ASAP. Food looks Amazingly delicious. Another excellent one. I heard the word GAME CHANGER. I got to get there. Peace. 👍😊❤️✌️
