      Hi Raneem, this is normal for the machine to not use all the milk (our machine did have some milk leftover not easily seen by the camera). If it is leaving a lot of milk, you would want to contact Delonghi to troubleshoot your machine. I hope this helps!

    Is it possible to make lattes/caps with a double shot? Or do I just hit the espresso button again after it’s finished making the latte?

    • @EverythingKitchens
      @EverythingKitchens  Před 5 lety +3

      MrJDH1111 there are a few ways to do this. The Lungo button will run more water through a single capsule to get more coffee, but you'll have a slightly weaker brew - the same effect would happen if you ran the espresso button twice with the same pod. To get a full-strength double shot, it will take 2 nespresso capsules each ran through the espresso button once. You could experiment with the strengths of each of these methods to find what you like best. Hope this helps 👨‍🍳

  • @stevem9992
    @stevem9992 Před 5 lety +3

    Do you just press the latte button to make a latte or cappuccino. If so how does machine know if you have a espresso capsule or lungo capsule in. As these would require a different amount of water?

    • @EverythingKitchens
      @EverythingKitchens  Před 5 lety

      Steve M, you are correct - just press the latte button to make either a latte or cappuccino. The latte button only uses an espresso amount of water but uses either a single or double portion of milk from the frothing container (depending on how much milk you put into it - the machine optically senses the amount of milk in the container). To make a lungo, you would press the lungo button (the middle button).

    • @EverythingKitchens
      @EverythingKitchens  Před 5 lety

      Ashley Rivera, glad that we could help out! As far as the milk goes, having a small amount leftover in the dispenser is common and normal with this unit. @EverythingKitchens  Před 4 lety +2

      Tarn, yes! The coffee produced is hot. A common issue is that people will use a room-temperature cup for their espresso which will cool it down quickly. To combat this, you can run a coffee program with no espresso pod installed to make hot water and add it to your mug to pre-heat the mug. Use this heated mug for your drink now. @@EverythingKitchens Two quick things. a) can you please put the direct buy links for each cup you use during the demo? (it'd be super easy to purchase and replicate the experience you show) b) Are the Zwilling double-wall cups the ones you use for the Lungo demonstration (I ask b/c I thought a lungo pour is only about 3/7 oz and the Zwilling double-wall cups: evkitch.com/2Lc2Sao look so much bigger. Thanks

    I don’t understand why the machine needs milk dispenser,you just put milk in to cup,that’s it , you don’t need to wash the milk filter in each use.

      It’s steamed milk which has bubbles and taste quite different from cold milk. Cold milk goes well with cold brews.

    Awesome review! Except for the fact you referred to every part of the machine as 'he'' or 'him', instead of 'it'

    If you pull the mic out of your arse might be able to hear the video without it being so muffled... either way interesting guide. Idk why i'm watching this when i bought the machine like 2 years ago...

      Michael Escobedo that’s because it is cheap, any coffee machine less than a few thousand pounds is cheap but sometimes cheap is ok if you can’t, for whatever reason, get a decent machine. This one only costs a few hundred pounds so you get what you pay for

    Chef Austin? No self respecting chef makes his own coffee, that’s what waiters and barristers are for!

      Mark Eagleton, my Nespresso is my barista-in-a-box at home 😉 I highly respect baristas (and waiters!) for what they do - making a well-balanced and beautiful coffee drink does take patience and talent ☕
