Oh my gaaahd. Instead of working on the 47 partially finished projects (from pattern pieces cut out to needs half a hem and it’s done), I am browsing CZcams for inspiration on more projects. Doggo tea parties were definitely on my list for some time. My procrast soul sees your procrast soul!
This video was so heckin cute! Thoroughly enjoyed!
procrastination montage is really good!
oh, the shirtwaist is good too!
I don't know that I've ever laughed quite this much while watching a sewing video! Also the blouse is lovely
"it's very Marilla Cuthbert" A HA! That is why I love this so much! This seems like a really cute and simple pattern and it looks great on you! (Also: bonus points for being brave enough to show yourself going through garbage. I literally lol'd)
That was a fun video!
God bless you, woman. Sometimes I watch costubers hand-stitching for miles and I'm like, kinda inspired but also like... yeah... I'm never going to do that. And then I see you pouring fray-check all over it and I'm like... yeah, that's an achievable goal!!! Honestly - it looks lovely, for a one-day sew it's awesome, and yeah... totally Marilla. Marilla probably wouldn't approve of the fray-check though. ;)
I'd like to imagine I have the attention span or motivation for a massive handsewn project but....It would just never be finished.
I was gonna do a one day make. I only have a couple hours a day to sew, so I chose something that was supposed to take an hour. I cut it, pressed it, sewed one seam, and lost it. I still have not found it.
I am seriously amused that you went out of the way to film your procrastination (or take the time to re-create it!)
Found your channel 2 years after you posted this, I have that pattern too, someday I'll make it... I have a dog that barks a TON at everything and nothing at all. He thinks if he's not in my line of sight I won't know its him, we also have 2 female dogs, all 3 have a unique bark so I always know who is being naughty and noisy.. he also ahs the weirdest/loudest water bowl sluprt . Btw, I love your button tin. Going to go look through your other videos,
Love your humor :)
That was so much fun! And the shirtwaist is very sweet. A great one day project!
love your hamilton posters XD
You did a great job, Robin! Ellie certainly added to the adventure.
This was fantastic! I love the Shirtwaist, you are hilarious, and dogs should always wear hats at tea parties! ♥️
agreed! she now associates costumes with massive amounts of treats and gets very excited when they come out.
It came out really cute! Though my favorite part was your procrastination montage.
(And I added you to the playlist!)
Oh you did a beautiful job!
An absolutely awesome 1 day make! I LOVE your storytelling and humour ^_^
"They" are going to come and get you. . I'm just like you!! Love it. p.s. I am going to binge watch all of your uploads. Pat-South Padre Island, Texas
That intro is a mood 😄👏
Procrastinating, or in my case....squirrel!
this was such a fun video! I loved the full three minutes of procrastinating at the beginning. You are very funny, I subscribed immediately!
This was such a funny, well-made video, and the shirtwaist turned out so nicely! Btw I love your dog’s hat :)))
It looks amazing
Your procrastination compilation resembles me Hilda vintage pictures
Really loved this! Thank you! New sub here. I can totally relate to the procrastination situation. 🇦🇺🌸👗😎
I love this soooo much
Lovely blouse but I could not stop thinking of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that murdered so many young women and girls.
I just ordered this pattern! :D
I think you'll like it! I have nothing but good things to say. although the ties on the waist run high if you're long waisted.
@@SewLoud I purchased it years ago when it was only S, M, &L but sold it as I didn't want to have to hassle enlarging it but now that the sizes are extended I purchased it again and am excited to try it. I have a 1903 corset cut out awaiting motivation. Covid has sucked all my sewing room motivation. I'd much rather sit in my living room and hand sew something than work on my machine. LOL
The garbage search was funny. I seriously thought he threw out your open eyelashes and was like "oooo girl, it ain't worth it." then I saw the packaging and was like O.O Ohhhh! LOL
I made view B with a thrifted mumu! It's so awesome! I'm stuck on the closures though. I'm so so bad at closures.
I also had difficulty with the collar! It was a painful process.
There’s a reason most of my Edwardian stuff closed with snaps! No button holes
@@SewLoud I lost my baggie of snaps haha! I need to take a trip to Fabricland.
Oh yes you are just as I am.🙃
I spy our posters in the barn!
This is awesome. God dammit now I'm going to have to try this. Lol.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Where is Ellie’s Oscar?
🤣👏🏻💕
Do you think it will work without the waisties?
Probably? I think their only purpose is to keep the blousing from pulling out and the gathering distributed, but the waistband of a skirt would probably also do that.
@@SewLoud im gonna try and do it ( but i justhave a 1890 skirt) and a original paterna ,then ill twll ypu ( because its very probably that i referente to your vídeo)
Plis ypu are awasome, i really loved ypur video
Loved watching you sew this lovely blouse!!! Thanks!
