Yes, I gave you the "beehive" ribbon...good memory. I bought that exact same glue stick a while ago! Pretty sure it was at Wal-Mart, maybe Meijer. I remember it said 2x as strong. I think I have that exact same paper pad, paid $5 at Mike's (😋). This video was not too long for me! I ALWAYS enjoy watching you work/ craft.😁😊 The first pocket you glued on was on the perfect pg. Spoke to me too! I think cause of the pg. next to it. Would you believe my little stapler is the same color as yours! As they say: Great minds run alike" ya... my mind is not as good as yours creatively. Good thing I'm so beautiful😂😂😂😋😋😅😆😉! Thanks for the fun visit!

Love the r rubber band trick. I'll have to remember that (I'd have to use something else because I'd never get away with the band here due to the humidity). The humidity gets to literally everything. Between that and the dust, nothing is sacred here in South Texas.

So fun to "shop" your own stash it's AMAZING what we've got squirreled away. Good for you for focusing on the positive. As a person who long suffered with anxiety I've learned it's just a bad habit of thought. What runs through our minds is truly the ONLY thing we have control over. Though often it seems we're more at the mercy of our minds than in control of them. The "looping" can be stopped by doing just what you said: Stop, take a deep breath and SHIFT your focus to something else. And just like you said, training your brain/mind will make all the difference and it gets easier with practice. So happy to hear you saying these things...that's fantastic. ✨💫
Very apt and eloquently stated! I especially appreciated your comment on "looping". I struggle with social anxiety. I very much prefer to be left alone. I am a painter and I adore to lose myself in my work. I can happily go for days before making any effort to be around people. Not healthy for me at all. I have only recently started watching Nicole and I find her refreshing and delightful. Thank you for your comment, it truly hit home with me as did Nicole's comments. Love and Bless xo
@@lindseywarren44 I'm quite the same I much prefer to be on my own, but like you said, that's so unhealthy. I've found a beautiful community here on YT and find that choosing to spend time with the people who mean the most to me, regularly does help a great deal. But it can be on our own terms and in small doses: a phone chat with a friend while walking outdoors (together but "not") works wonders for the outlook.
This is all especially true during times of pain and grief. I tend to go inward completely but that often makes things "darker" so I've been reaching out, on my own terms, and "being" with a close friend or one family member or chatting with YT friends has helped immensely.
I wish you well, be kind to yourself. I love the wisdom of my YT friend Janet Nash who talks a great deal about "gentle art for self care". Take care...

@@lindseywarren44 I ran a challenge a few years back called "watch what you say for a day" to get people to really pay attention to what they say/hear/think/etc. It's so important to be aware of the stories we tell: "The Darkness never seems very far away from me..." (focusing on the Darkness with a capital "D" no less) Focus is everything. What we focus on, we get more of. It's as simple (and as complicated) as that.
We can't "fight" things or "release" anything without giving it our full attention. I hear so many people say things like "I release all negativity and that which does not serve me".
WHY on Earth would ya' want to focus on "negativity" and "that which does not serve me"???
Instead, "I embrace all that's positive and only that which serves my highest self."
It seems like simple semantics, but it really does make all the difference.
What we focus on, (think, talk, read, listen, watch, discuss, ponder, etc.) we get more of.

I’ve used Elmers Xtreme since I started collaging 2016 and nothing has ever come unglued in my books. The problem is that it’s sometimes very hard to find. Was thrilled to get that Amazon Prime deal the other day!!!

I want to let you know I love your channel and watching you create things help with my anxiety a lot. My house is full of negativity, and your channel helps me escape. I love your journals and everything you do.
This bee journal is so pretty. I've been enjoying watching the entire process. I have a pair of those scissors and found some in the DT garden section that work the same and just as good. It was my score for the day when I found them. I don't know why I've not been able to add emos lately, but it's ticking me off. :bee: :scissors:
Oh my gosh I love those glue sticks I was wondering when you said those if I had used them but now that I see them I have.. matter of fact my Walmart use to sell them and it’s what I used before you told me about the ones from Costco.. they were my fav but sadly my Walmart gets things then stops getting them so they don’t have them any more.. I personally like the ones you showed us but if I had to choose second for me it would be those.. I also like fabric Tack I think it’s what it’s called but again my Walmart has it but it’s never in stock.. story of my life with Walmart 😂.. when you live in an area where you have to drive an hour both ways tho you just use what you can find.. before I found those I did cheap dollar store wouldn’t recommend but 😂.. I really love that positivity journal lol your making me want to do one myself.. 💜💜✌️

PS You need to add acetone (nail polish remover) to your Fabri-Tac not alcohol. Don't know if alcohol would thin it or ruin it lol

I misspoke, I meant Acetone (nail polish). I have fibromyalgia and when I’m in a flare up I get brain fog and mix up my words. My apologies.

I went to my half priced bookstore as they have magazines for $1, so I got a bunch to cut out this weekend so I have to stop watching right now!! so I have this video for this weekend. My favorite thing to do is watch your videos while I fussy cut. This is go8ng to be hard…….eeeeeeeeeeeek
