  • Andy Crow steps back in time for today's pigeon decoying outing. He makes his own decoys out of plastic downpipe and paints them up. Meanwhile, Tom Davies and Ollie Williams are out after deer and foxes with a range of thermal devices. They look at the pluses and pitfalls. David has the news on the News Stump, and Charlie offers the best hunting and shooting videos from CZcams in Hunting CZcams, including one with him in it. Keep it #FieldsportsBritain

Thermal monoculars, how well would a combo work, either a digital or optical monocular attached to the side in a binocular type arrangement? Over to the mad inventor in his shed to make one...

Schoffel ptarmigan ultralight 2 is the best jacket I’ve ever worn for breathability. You can drop on the occasional sale but they’re expensive

The law in Sweden is: The snowmobile's engine must have been switched off for at least 10 minutes before the hunt can begin. Hunting may not take place closer than 500 meters from the scooter's parking space on the day when the scooter is used. Scooters must not be used to search for game.

I farm and it’s always tough . New equipment doesn’t mean your making a lot of money. Without equipment you can’t farm . That’s the problem with farming your a millionaire on paper but can’t makes ends meet with cash .

it turns out that the coordinates the goverment got for the shooting location are not the same as the drop location.
The drop-off site is located 12 kilometers outside the actual protection hunting area,
it is belived that 3 snowmobiles was used to push the bear out and then shot from a helicopter.

      Hi Rod,
Thanks for your constructive comment. It was wide gap sheep fencing 10x8’’ gaps with the animal stood almost directly behind it... inside 100 yards I’m sure even you could hit a target that large.
As you clearly hear in the video I wait until he stands broadside with a clear sight through the gap to the target area on the animal.
In the circumstances (a constant variable in hunting) this was the best possible practice.
