- Westmoreland County farmers are feeling the impact of the lack of rain this growing season. Typically, Sam Greenawalt farms 25,000 dozen ears of corn. This year, he is expecting to harvest only 17,000. Greenawalt is hopeful going into the fall season, especially when it comes to his pumpkin patch.
