I found your videos on line searching 😂
“I opened a thrift store “ to find out information from someone who’s actually done it. I have been a nurse 30 years in Ohio and I’m completely burnt out. I have been in charge of our church rummage sales, big rummage sales for many years and when I stop and think about what do I enjoy ?
I love doing the rummage sales. I love organizing it and bringing the stuff in pricing , cleaning set up - display , selling.
I love the whole bit, I have a good 20 years left to work before I retire in my 70s and this is something I wanted to do so your information has been very helpful more videos would be appreciated. God Bless your family and your business.
Yea! I’m a newbie. Just watched a couple videos and was like I’ve got to see their thrift store. And here u have it! Sher
Omg, you had me laughing with that failed prank.😂😂😂😂
Great info! Thanks for the laugh with the “pudding” prank!!😊
Awww, what an awesome video, my husband and I have always wanted to have a thrift store for years and years we have talked about it, we wanted to call it CH treasures, I think that's why I'm drawn to you both. We do storage lockers and its fun to hear you say and do the same things we do... always test before cleaning... and there is a need at every level. Thank you for the great video, Carrie
Thank you for all of the tips on opening/running a thrift store. It was very informative & interesting. I definitely would like to see more information on the thrift store business. There were points you both made that I wouldn’t have thought of since you both have the experience. My future plans are to have a thrift store & continuing to run my online business just like you both do. My mindset is the same as yours, you only live once so be happy & enjoy your life. I hope your kidos feel better! You both do so much. I don’t know how you keep up. Have a fantastic week. Love Y’all ❤
Thank you! We hope you have a great week
Thanks for my Sunday smile.
This is great information. I won't be opening a store, but it's still fun to watch. Something I do at my yard sales is to put the price tags on the bottom/back of items because I heard that people are more likely to buy something once they have it in their hands, and they have to do that in order to see the prices. I don't know if it's true. I absolutely LOVE the antique drawers by the front door. I wish I lived closer so that it was reasonable for me to come and trailer it home. Sigh.
your Jack of all trades i thought your name is Colton. so you are Colton of all trades. be bless and love and safe. SAVANNAH TN.
I'm in Texas & retired I want to open a thrift store but rent for commercial is crasy high price. I do online eBay sales for 21+ years & I work out of 2 10 × 10 climate control storage units. I am only limited to smaller items. I am firm of keeping my overhead operating cost low.
I enjoyed watching this, and there was some good info. Thanks guys 🌻
Our pleasure!
Great tips!
Nice Video i also own a Thrift store Im located in Ohio...yess its alot of hardwork buying storage units, private picking and estate buyouts.its fun finding treasures i have so much from over the years of buying the key thing is keeping the inventory moving and keep repeat customers coming back.
My favorite videos that you put out is when you deal with the thrift store the eBay store and going to the storage units. Kind of your everyday battle in life. I enjoy watching all of them though. Thank you
Thank you
I'm in California and yes I would like to see this kind and all your videos. They're great 👍.😊

And definitely good location for The store to be at
That’s a very good point!
Very good information.
Can I watch it if I don’t want to open a thrift store?
Of Course buddy! Your always welcome here! I don’t go to many garage sales any more, but still watch you pick. It’s virtual reality, or something like that
thank you guys for all the gold nuggets you're giving us, you probably should invest in getting an anti theft towers to put by the door for the higher end items and some sensors as well, shoplifters are evil, keep up the good work 💯👍
Great video 🇦🇺🥰
Open a thrift store they said, It'll be fun! LOL! Most people have NO idea how much work is involved. It is 9:23 on a Sunday night and we just walked in the door about 30 minutes ago. We are in the process of moving both of our locations into one 15,000 sq ft location. 14-16 hour days. If you guys are ever in southern Virginia, we would love for you to stop in and visit. Of course if you are like us, you are working 7 days a week to just try and keep up. Keep on rockin it.
AWESOME video! Thanks for doing this. What would you say good average week regarding gross sales on a thrift your size would be?
good video
Thanks for the visit
Yall, this was very helpful. We want to open a thrift store in Atlanta in a few years so thanks for the tips. I can't believe you missed his hand with the poop lol. Great video even though Alabama didn't win the championship this year, hahahahaha GO GEORGIA BULLDOGS!!!!!!
Missing your videos! Hope yall are well.
bad ass HAWK board
A friend told me I should start one. I said no.
I can come "clean" your ghosts... Give me a heads-up for the next big yard sale that goes through and I'll make a dual-purpose trip.
Curtis will not be here when it’s dark. Haha we may take you up on it
Getter Done!!
Good overview and good recommendations for anyone who wants to go into business for themselves.
Colton, See what happens when you were trying to prank someone else with that pudding. (Karma)
Hope those kids get over their stomach bugs.
Thank you! Yep Karma is a real thing
What is the name of the store and what city
dont have a camera over the register...keeps people honest
Do y’all still get much donations even though u can’t write a tax write off receipt?
Yeah, that doesn’t seem to bother folks. However, having a shop where you buy stuff does. Because now instead of donating, they want money
