Additional information: A community from Scheduled caste who speaks Aravu language .they are playing BERI drums from ancient times during performing pooje to God during rathosthava. It's very important with respect to culture practices of Aravu language speaking community. No other communities prepare BERI drums out of goat skin to perform music in front of this God. Aravu speaking community PPL play important role in nagaeshwara rathosthava. One can witness this during rathosthava. Many youtubers uploaded videos of rathosthava where BERI drums are being played from Aravu speaking PPL.

The most important thing I heard was that there is a rarest lord Ganesa whose trunk is on the right side known as "Valampuri Vinayaga " you can find only 3 nos like this I was told. One is in tamilnadu at Pillaiyar Patti, Second one is in Begur Panja Lingeswara temple and the third one is in Afganistan.

That's right.. it was later developed by Cholas. But it's architecture and main structure remains as Gangas original structure and there are enough inscriptions inside the temple

Wow Girija, excellent video tour of this famed temple complex; very clear and well informed narration as well. My compliments. I love this temple and visit it during my every trip to Bengaluru (i live in USA). Was there earlier this month. I agree with you that the stone slabs with historically important inscription need to be housed and cared for properly and the rich history and lore of this place must be presented to the visitors with a multi-media experience. This is 4-5 Kms from Meenakshi mall . You can type Begur Panchalingeshwara temple in google map. It is located next to a busy road on one side and a lake on other side.
It's on the way to electronic city begur village. But it will not look like village
