Go outside, or go to the nearest volleyball court. If you have to stay at home, do some volleyball drills like this one. Watch many videos and tutorials too. I recommend practicing 2-3 hours a day. Before you do try outs, make sure to work harder, even train longer, to make sure that you’re good on every skill. Hope this helps! ❤️

I’ve been playing volleyball for 4 years but I had to be removed from playing for a while(story at bottom) and because of that, I went into a very depressed stage , had to be in physical therapy and wasn’t allowed to play at all. So a few months ago I finally got back onto a team and was the WORST player. But I started watching your videos and doing these drills and it’s really shown an improvement! Thank you❤️ Story: at this time I was 11, I play wreck volleyball because my parents refuse to let me do travel or be on a school team and I’m still underage to make my own decisions (I’m currently 13) and so anyway, on my 5th season of volleyball I was put on a team with this nasty girl. She was the most stuck-up rude person I ever met, she hated me for no reason. At practice she would always talk to her friends and MY friends about me saying stuff like “she sucks, why does she even exist?” And lying about me saying “she told me ‘ I hope you d!e’ “ and stuff like that and much other disgusting stuff I never want to repeat. One day, we were playing against a really good team and my team just gave up, they put in no effort, on the other hand, I was passing all the balls, screaming at everyone (“call the ball” “mine” “help” “short/deep” “out” etc) we were towards the end of the game (the other team was at 24 and we were at 22 so if the other team got another point we would lose) and the other team was serving, the ball was going in my general area and I knew no one else was going to get it so before it even went over the net I screamed mine, and just as I thought it came straight to me, but the rude girl shoved me out the way and I fell on the floor, caught the ball, and proceeded to punch me multiple times. She started stomping my knees leaving them bloody and bruised and bashed in. She was just going at me, beating me up.i was in the hospital for my knees and other more minor injuries and I had to be in physical therapy for a year 1/2. She got banned from playing in the wreck league,which she deserved. And I wasn’t allowed to play for a year 1/2 Now I’m better (almost) and starting again. Doing these drills and other drills in your other videos has really helped.

I dont recommend the juggling because when you dive it becomes a habit to use one arm I am a middle schooler and I finally broke that habit. The rest of the drills are great(no hate at all)
I see this alot in girls volleyball so I really gotta caution you guys. Keep your elbow low and use your entire body to explode into the ball. Not only is this stronger but it also keeps your shoulders healthy as there is way less strain on your arm as compared to high elbow
The only problem is the walls at my house outside are like horizontal planks ( bloxburg users u know what I mean 😭) anyways it sometimes gets hit in different ways off the wall to the ground or the side
Try your best to be coachable: meaning if the coach tell you something you might need to fix make sure you actually follow through and do it. Hope this helps!

Ill tell you this you need to grow to at least 6’0 if not you gonna have to do jump training and become a setter or just be a libero. You know everyone in the league are either 6’0 or above, lowest I’ve say was like 5’5 and thats a libero.
Well, you could buy like pads for your arms for when you hit the ball (they are called wrist guards) or you probably gonna have to get a ultra soft volleyball on like Amazon or something
Get used to it, or just dont buy balls from walmart save up money and buy online. Also you will get used to the volleyball when your forearm is all red after practicing thats a good thing.

It’s ok if u have a swing set up can use it as a net and for serving keep ur arm straight in the air and don’t throw the ball to high and practice pass set spike and serve against a wall should help
Hey! I’m 12 year old and I have been playing going to a volleyball course for like 3 months now. But my serves and spikes suck! Like whatever I do, I can’t get my servers to go far. And all the girls in my lesson is really great at it and I feel bad when I can’t do it. Please give me some recommendations!
Look basically you need a good toss not too short but not to tall . If you are right handed , have your legs parallel and when you toss the ball make a small step with your left leg and have a very fast elbow . Like from bend go to straight elbow really quick because serving is about speed . For spiking I recommend that you talk to your coach because I can’t explain really well
