A record passes on to me from my father, who passes three years ago. I must say these Christian hymn recordings, especially Pat Boone’s soft and warm voice, has great influence bring me to become a follower of Christ. Thank you Steve!

Oh my goodness, this brings me back to Sunday mornings as a girl in Jamaica. Jim Reeves, Pat Boone, Skeeter Davis, their albums on vinyl played while we had family breakfast and got ready for church. Words that worshiped the Lord, not asking Him for anything, just worship. Thanks for sharing.
I had the LP . With the advent of cassettes & DVDs. I lucked in & got a CD. I think Pat Boones voice is best suited for Hymns. Deep & golden syrup. My favourite hymns When my Mother was going to be with the Lord. She & I sang these beautiful hymns. She went so peacefully.
I second that emotion, Mitzie. I grew up with this music in Jamaica. My father played Pat Boone,Jim Reeves, Nat King Cole,Skeeter and others all the time. So many good memories!
This album was played often in my childhood home .Then a new album was a big thing .We also had his follow up hymns album .Superb as well ,however the brass backing was too loud .🤩❤🙏⛪🎼🎶
I remember when I was little in the 1960s, I heard this hymnal album by Pat Boone often played by Mom. The Old Rugged Cross was the song that God used to speak to me decades later in 1980, leading me to be born again. Praise the Lord! And I am listening to this album this very minute in 2022. Thank you Steve for making this wonderful album available in this digital age. God bless you!

My childhood in Jakarta, Indonesia, 1958......that was when i first heard this vinyl hymns recording of Pat Boone....I thank GOD that I'm still alive now to listen to these soul touching songs again......

I remember singing along to this Album as a child. It has such special memories. Now playing it to sooth my aunt of 98 suffering from covid.
