    I learned in AIT at Bragg that if you perform a proper search, they can't surprise you with a weapon. Nor can they do so if you secure them properly.
    The response by two cops, and failure by both to hit their target despite MANY rounds fired, suggests a departmental failure in training for both arrest procedures and firearms.

The fact that she was/is in fear for her life because of him will be forgotten about. On top of that he’ll blame her for calling in first place and causing him to almost mistakenly be killed and she’ll be in even more danger of his violence/abuse now. Great job protecting and serving. Was with my sister parked out in front of her kids school waiting to pick them up about a week before this happened. Hear a crazy loud boom on the roof of the suv. Was loud enough for us both to get out and investigate the situation, turned out to be a chewed down pinecone, a gift from our squirrel friends. I was LOUD but it was "see if there were and dents in the roof of the car loud", not "Fuck! we better mag dump the playground loud" then this gem came out. I'm sure if we had acted in the same way we would have been fine. its not like there are completely different consequences for cops and civilians or anything. The justice system works just fine. but if it happens ever again you can bet your sweet ass im doing at least 3 tactical rolls. might even try to pull a pit maneuver on the tree if i see that rodent run .

      Though with some motor sports, the alcohol based fuel does create flames that are not visible to the naked eye. The movie was referencing that. Yes jokingly, but on tracks it has happened, where drivers were rolling, screaming that they were on fire, people could not initially see it, but they were. Once clothing or other material began to burn, it would then add orange to the flames, making it visible.
      But still a great movie.

It definitely startled me but yes I also handled it better than this cop by a landslide LOL!!! I just stayed still and slightly encouraged him out of the boat since I knew he wasn't venomous. You ever been in the Army? Each unit has S offices. They're staff offices in which soldiers who are staff soldiers work out of. These people do paperwork, supply, finances, legal, etc. work. Many of them are officers and NCOs. Many of the staff soldiers don't participate in the normal training or missions carried out by the unit they are attached to. You don't want the guy who is responsible for keeping toilet paper stocked in the unit restrooms clearing rooms with you.

      @ArmaGuyz Stick to video games, dude. I was Army 1st Cav. We had officers in our unit that never set foot in a tank, never took part in a unit FTX, never qualified on the range, etc. There are supply officers attached to Seal and Delta units, many of them are females. They obviously didn't pass BUDS or Delta selection. They're certainly not clearing rooms with suppressed weapons alongside the TIER boys.

      @@mattf2146 Completely dodged everything I said that you know is valid.
      All of that Training is STANDARD.
      If you are in the Army you go to Basic.
      If you go to basic you take Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM) .
      If you are in going into SFOR you have to pass SFOR Selection/Training ... In the Military Standard training you experience live Fire exercises. All of these things regardless of the lack of having been in tanks ect from people you know of are Training ALL HAVE TO HAD TO HAVE TAKEN to be in those things as a STANDARD PRACTICE. Even Consciencious Objectors go to Basic and take BMT. You can tell me to stick to Video games all you like... That doesnt make you right and me wrong that makes spiteful of me pointing out that this man has had weapons training and throughout all of that you're going to tell me he never experienced the sound of a Suppressed weapon??? BS.
      It doesnt matter if someone you know didnt Qualify or never entered a Tank ect... THEY STILL TAKE THE SAME REQUIRED STANDARDS WHEN THEY ENTER THOSE FIELDS. YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE BEEN A SEAL OR TEIR 1 to have been exposed to the sound of a suppressed weapon.... To argue that this man never had ever heard a suppressed weapon throughout all of that training is BSing not only me but yourself and everyone who has ever enlisted in the United States Military. It doesnt matter if youre attached or not...
      IF YOU ENLIST... YOU TAKE BASIC IF YOU TAKE BASIC YOU TAKE BRM IF YOU ENTER SFOR YOU ARE 100% exposed to Suppressed weapons and Im pretty sure Basic Weapons Familiarization includes exposure to at least one suppressed weapon.

      @mattf2146 Před 4 měsíci +4

      @ArmaGuyz No. Nobody trains with suppressed weapons in BCT or boot camp. Nobody. Regardless of what training videos you've seen on the internet or what training you perceive to have been performed, you're wrong. Again, the female servicemembers attached to SF units like SEALS and DELTA did NOT at all pass the rigorous training requirements that the men did. The female and male support officers attached to these units didn't pass BUDS or selection. You're outright wrong.
