  • I built a 1 3 inch toothpick , but it was too heavy unfortunately , so it will be 2.5 inch. I'd rather fly a few with this quad.

This is so cool! How did you learn to build such amazing drones? Do you have videos how to build these small drones?

Thank you! There is nothing special about it, you just need to know what is needed to make an fpv quad work. There are many videos of builds or motor, prop, frame combinations and you can get ideas from them. After a while you can try things out, I like to build as well to try new things. I like these tiny quads because you can charge more batteries at the same time, they are less noisy, so they don't bother anyone. Assembly is a bit more fiddly , because everything is tiny , the screws are the solder points and everything has to be compressed into a small frame. Of course, it doesn't always go well the first time, as it didn't for me on one of my builds. I have already rebuilt it at home :) that's the hobby!

the building is the easy part. flying FPV is much harder than building them. If you dont have any electronics experience, you will need to learn that first.
unless youre a big fan of electronics and tinkering with things, building them is not cost/time effective

@@phearz0r Well of course knowing electronics helps a lot, I was brought up in soldering tin fumes because my father is a TV repairman. I have always liked to tinker, but a toothpick/quad construction can catch me out (for a while). How big a spacer and screw do I need, where do I stuff the beeper, receiver and vtx (if separate) in the non-existent place. Tiny solder joints in impossible places or 3x disassembled quad on which something does not work. Then disassembling it causes a wire to come off... There are of course connector solutions and aio with everything on it, that can make it easy. But of course everyone has a different view ;)
